Not to excuse his behavior but back in the 90´s early 2000 it was pretty common for 16/17 years old to date guys in their early twenties. Older guys would come to pick up their girlfriends in high school all the time. Back in the days girls would date older guys but of course our parents did not know and would have absolutely not approved. I don’t have a dog in the fight, however, this sort of relationship is not uncommon in other countries & yes even here in the US. All they have to have is the parents permission which they apparently gave their approval. For example, if they wanted to get married during that time, they could have legally as long as the parents consented. I have great aunts who were married @ 14 & had children as teenagers. Now, are there mental & emotional repercussions of this? Sure, but these types of situations do happen. We’re only hearing about this because these are celebrities. I pray Brandi really seeks out Jesus & the additional help she needs so that proper healing can come into her life.
