@@thetruesoulofanaquarius9302 exactly! Mad annoying. And that’s why Brandy rebelled becoming the same woman her mother despised. AN OUT OF WEDLOCK MOTHER! Maybe if you loosened your grips a bit when she was a teen, she wouldn’t have done what she did. I understand being a protective parent but you need to do it in moderation. Everything needs to be done In Moderation. Brandy was so smothered with religion and that good girl image and being sheltered that when she got much older and had a bit of freedom, she ran wild. Keeping her locked up in chains and nun outfits isn’t the way. Instead of telling her not to do certain thing, EXPLAIN WHY. That’s the thing with these parents, they wanna rule with iron fists. I was a freshman in high school when this happened and I was shocked she faked being married but didn’t really care. I thought it was weird that they faked it though. I wouldn’t be shocked if Brandy had some issues because her mom was SUPER OVERPROTECTIVE of her but not Ray J. This is why you gotta let your kids grow and figure themselves out at some point and Sonya never did that with Brandy.
@lrs15192 жыл бұрын
Sonjas relationship with Ray J is very telling. You can tell she babied him until he reached his late 20’s to 30s. In her eyes he can do no wrong. Look at how she behaved with Princess. You can tell she wants to be in control over her children’s lives and can’t help but meddle and frequently sways out of her lane.
@joshuamcdowell97452 жыл бұрын

Brandy was under a microscope to be the innocent star that young girls can look up to and she had that "Girl Next Door" image. That must have been stressful and I see why she did it but it was so unnecessary. It woulda been ppl talking mess but Brandy is not obligated to raise your children to be in her exact image. @@BeautyisHerName692 and they never showed the baby’s face. This is so crazy because I definitely remember this documentary 🤣🤣 I had no idea it was all a hoax all this time. I thought it was just one of those Solange shotgun weddings because of the pregnancy 🤣🤣

I was a teenager I felt the same way he was very detached and disinterested

Y'all will forever compare Brandy and Monica. Let that old shit go. This video has nothing to do with Monica and she had her kids after this. 🤦

It really is sad that Brandy felt she couldn’t be honest about not being married while pregnant. Fake marriage aside…I hope she can find love and healing one day. Chile she might be happy and in a relationship and we just don’t know it. Either way I hope she and her daughter are doing well. Seems like being a teen star can really have traumatic, long lasting affects. ❤️

There was definitely pressure on her parents and her management. I didn’t care if she was pregnant out of wedlock Her music was brilliant! Didn’t it go platinum? You’re right! Peer pressure can lead to traumatic emotions

The fact that this “Christian family” boldly created and went on a tour spreading this lie is crazy to me.
