A brave team of divers performed an incredible rescue of a whale shark that had become caught in a piece of rope.
In December 2019, divers from Macana Maldives tour agency, Simone Musumeci and Antonio Di Franca were taking some clients on a guided dive in the island of Fuvahmulah, Maldives, when they spotted something extraordinary.
A huge whale shark was cruising the water around their boat with a thick rope tied around its body, between its head and its pectoral fins.
Simone said: “While the divers were slowly getting back on the boat, our guide Gianluca, who was on board, shouted ‘whale shark!’.

@@harrisaxer2651 I've actually had the pleasure of swimming with whale sharks, and from that experience I can tell you that they're really not very fond of us tagging along with them. When they get tired of us all that they do is go deep until you can't see them anymore. Most likely the whale doesn't know that we are somewhat limited in how deep we can go. I say it wanted the help and knew they were helping because after it went too deep and the divers had to stop, it actually came back. Pretty amazing and I've seen videos of many other animal species approaching humans and sticking around when they were in need of help, including other sharks.

Don't be upset about dislikes, studies show that most dislikes are people trying to like and hitting the wrong button by accident.

@ yvonne pandora meehan ypm Hola buenos días.

Well people don't like clickbait. Whale sharks arent dangerous so calling them brave is kind of trying to lie and say the whale shark was dangerous. They are literally Sloths of the ocean so the total opposite of dangerous. Even if a massive one swallowed you he would spit you out mostly unharmed. unless microscopic they literally couldnt eat you if they tried
