These are awesome deeds rescuing big mammals but that said people overestimate the bad things humans do to the world as a whole. Local pollution yes, globally nope. Even terrible events like Fukoshima have NO devastating effects on the globe in total. Especially no LASTING effects (globally).

a wonderful video of humans with big hearts. The mommy humpback could have batted one diver to kingdom come but adjusted its tail fin down stroke to allow the diver to continue doing the rescue. Or so it seems. God Bless you chaps.

@@KingScorpio84 Easier to redesign the net, eg Japan uses glass floats, to keep nets on the surface for retrieval. Perhaps fishing boat should report the loss of the net.....

Insane how dexterous these creatures are. Once she felt the diver's scuba tank she instantly realised he was there and immediately drove her tail in the opposite direction in order to avoid hitting him

Wow...heading off the whale just to be able to get to her. She was moving at a good pace and she even seemed to slow down for you. Fantastic job. And jumping in at those speeds? Wow. You guys are awesome! Great job?

Is it my imagination, or did the whale ease off when he started cutting the net off her tail? It looked like she shopped swimming for a moment and held still till he cut the last bit that was clinging to a barnacle on her tail fluke, not to mention being very gentle when the other diver swam over, and wound up under her tail. That wasn't very smart on their part but she seemed very gentle all things considered. Given that she was escorting a calf, it wouldn't have been surprising if she had been more aggressive. Kudos to the divers though. Hopefully the mother didn't wind up ingesting too much of that net.

Great Job!👍 I have seen enough whales videos being rescued from fishnets buoys and anchors, that I think that such fishing equipment should be equipped with GPS and/or radar tracking devices. So if whales get caught in them, they all have a chance to be rescued.
