BRAVE from LATITUDE 64 | REVIEW

In this video I do a review of the new fairway driver in the Royal lineup from Latitude 64 and it's called BRAVE.

I'm bagging it for the same reason I've always bagged River - long low glidy shots where I need to stay under some trees or low hanging branches. Its glide lets you throw it a meter off the ground and it just stays there for days. Also great for tailwind fairway shots.

this flies a lot like the Stig. I have the Stig in K1, and can't throw as far as you, so I think I'll stick with the Stig which is more at my level.

Good disc. Tested it, for me flies exacly same as urs. Good replacement of seasoned river for me.

Hi guys! I had to record the talking part inside because my Canon camera can't handle the cold.... It was -6 Celcius when i recorded the video. I searched a bit if the cold would effect the disc and I find some information that says the disc gets more understable in cold weather because when it's cold the air gets more dense. Other people says their discs behaves more overstable in cold weather. What are your experience regarding the stability when playing in the cold?

I think the denser air will accentuate any turn or fade a disc may have, and make it come sooner. But at my armspeed, in winter, most discs are more overstable. I'll have to go out and experiment to see if my understable ones become more understable - I don't remember that happening.

Colder, denser air, more under stable. However, at least for my winter disc golf I rarely see that in practice. More layers of clothing, slippery pads, less grip on cold discs with colds hands.

In my experience the winter form i get from throwing in the winter with many layers of clothing and slippery teepads effects the disc more then the weather it self. Feel like the drivers are the disc that changes the most, some get super flippy and some get beafier. //Anton (The guy who talks to fast)

Would this be a replacement for the Lat64 Maul (7 | 7 | -2 | 1)? I've not heard anything about that mold being discontinued, but it's my favorite woods disc.

No fiscs have been retired lately, they have just added plastic types and brought back "classics" that wasn't prioritized during the pandemic (Core/Trident/Beetle/Striker/Halo and some others). I'd say all Grand plastic is a premium line within the premium manufacturer L64° ;)

They released Mauls in Opto orbit and Air plastics as well as regular this year, but they are all sold out. Hopefully not OOP for too long.

I hope its a speed 7 fury (like a line star Guadalupe) 7 6 -2 2. The curve of the rim looks very similar

I was throwing in much warmer conditions today (25c) and I'd say your numbers are pretty much the same as what I was getting. More flip than my old beaten in River, but we'll see how it goes with seasoning.

pretty similar flights i would say. I was quite some time ago since i threw the STIG but they absolutely have similarities in there flights. :)
