I went to see them in 2019, they were of course great, they gave every audience member a metal card sized copy of the constitution. I still have mine in my wallet, we all got some playing cards as well, I had mine signed by Teller after the show, he was so gracious, he took the time to speak to everyone, sign autographs and take pictures. When it was my turn I asked if he was hungry or thirsty or needed anything, he actually was very greatful and said he didn't need anything but Penn might, Penn told us at the beginning of the show that he was sick , since I'm immunosupressed I couldn't get close enough to Penn to speak with him. I had a great time and would definitely recommend it.

The most mind blowing part of this whole episode for me personally was finding out that Teller taught Latin for 6 years, lol. I have always loved Penn and Teller, and watching this and learning more about them was pretty awesome. I still can't believe that Teller taught Latin for 6 years though, lol.

Teller does talk, just not as part of the act. I remember seeing, I think Bob Costas, interviewing him on some late late show. It was a bit surreal. On the other hand, Harpo never spoke on camera. I talked to him once at the meet and greet after their show. This was shortly after seeing a documentary on magic in which he was interviewed fairly extensively. Told him he has a really nice speaking voice. He seemed pleased. (slight spoiler alert:) For those who haven't seen the woodchipper bit, Penn explains that Teller is going to do the next routine alone, and he will talk us through it. Then the woodchipper comes out, Teller fires it up, and the noise of it drowns out everything he says (IF he actually says anything). It's hilarious.

It started off as the punk rock version of magic. Most magicians took themselves seriously, but they didn’t. We walked outside to get a cab, she slipped on some ice and her skirt went above her head and her coat, and I laughed out loud in front of her, I will never forget that evening. I quit watching television in 1968 when I was 14. I never heard of them until in the last few years that I've been watching KZbin and seeing some things I missed that were positive about TV, and they are one for sure!! Once in a while over the years I would see TV, and one was Saturday Night Live. The only thing I remember of them very well was the one time I saw them with the upside down trick that totally fooled me. I really believe that magicians have a kind of genius with the tricks they invent. It involves much more and viewers take a lot for granted. I also feel there is a kind of genius with good stand-up comedians too as they also are magicians in a way and very quick, split seconds in timing too. Thanks very much for sharing this as they are fascinating people! Does anyone know what they think of some of magician David Blaine's tricks? Does anyone know if he tried to trick Penn and Teller on their show too?
