This week, Jason is joined by reality TV personality and entrepreneur Kyle Cooke for the second time!
Kyle was last on the show two years ago to talk about his sparkling hard teas and canned cocktail company Loverboy in addition to his experience being on Bravo’s hit show, Summer House. In more recent news, Kyle has been in the hot seat for some recent drama regarding his friend and Summer House co-star Craig Conover partnering with a competing brand of Loverboy. Kyle gives insight to the conflict between Loverboy and competitor Spritz Society on Watch What Happens Live, what he would do differently looking back in hindsight, the behind-the-scenes of the business of Loverboy, how he found out about the collaboration from Craig and the conversation they had, the importance of honesty and transparency, and how the situation is more gossip than an actual business case. Kyle also reveals what really goes into entrepreneurship, qualifying for an SBA loan worth millions, clearing up the truth and falses between business and pop culture, and how he balances his relationship and his business. Who has equity in the business? How much did he raise initially?
Kyle reveals all that and so much more in another episode you can’t afford to miss!

Jason is all about business, investment, & making the right money decision & he just gave Kyle a platform to complain about Craig's financially smart decision in asking for royalties & Kyle saying no & then going back on his decision.... such a waste. Jason should've told Kyle the truth & not kiss ass

This is all great publicity for Loverboy. I have seen Craig’s picture with a spritz weeks ago but have no idea what brand it is nor do I care. And I love Craig. But still more excited to try Loverboy if it ever gets to Canada !!

Clearly, and as Kyle admitted, he took it personally. As someone who works in marketing and constantly monitors competitor and brand index growth levels, I can understand the irritation as this is Kyle’s livelihood. To his point, his competitor should understand they’re cut from the same cloth in a sense of being the small fish competing against the big ones. Good leaders would respect that. However, some leaders get to where they are by being arrogant and stepping on others to get their leg up. It does appear the competitor chose to snag or entice Craig and knew the fire this would ignite would bring them free publicity. Smart, but shitty business practice. I do believe in karma.

THIS! Everybody taking sides, this business knew exactly what they were doing! Only those wise enough can understand this situation. Those that own businesses and understand marketing and competitors understand Kyle’s opinion on this. Also, one thing certain it’s been better for lover boy because I still don’t know the company associated with Craig, and I love Craig!

Craig has his own business (Sewing Down South) so he understands business vs. personal. Kyle is just coming across as petty and should not have agreed to be interviewed about this. Criag is being silent about it and I think that's the best idea.

Jason did a great job trying to kindly impart some good advice to Kyle. Kyle seems very unreceptive and has a closed mindset. I think Loverboy should focus on the merch and leave the beverage space.

This was great!!! So detailed and more understood for sure . I love loverboy BUT agree with Kyle . When I ask others they say they wanted to love it but wanted a better quality taste. Better taste . So if he can add better quality ingredients and maybe is already done , then this will help. I really want him to succeed because the big companies don’t need more . So good luck Kyle. Wishing him the best as he sounds very passionate .

I know the whole storyline but I feel like Kyle is having a hard time just telling the facts of what happened and I think Jason is seeing holes and stuff in the story and the business and he is trying to be devils advocate and trying to understand why Kyle said what he did about craig and ben because its buisness and he isn't understanding kyle's side. Kyle is definitely taking it personally but throwing his frineds and the other business under the bus and making it a bigger deal than it is.

I get covid messed up everything but Also ppl were drinking the most during that time😢 its rough out there...ya have to get the price down somehow. I'm sure it's not easy but ppl aren't going to choose a 6 pack for the price of a 12pack with whiteclaw or others. I can't imagine being in that spot trying to push that ❤

I have to say when i was in NH many times..kyles home state, I really WANTED to get Loverboy❣️💯 however the price was a bit much. I get ya have to have $ making prices & the show is advertising BUT Honey, maybe if the summer house / ur friends didn't drink ALL summer for FREE, I would be able to choose loverboy❤much love tho🫶💯😘✌️
