I really like Steve for two major reasons. One, he's looks awesome and fun to play. Two, he brings back a level of hype that the DLC hasn't had since Byleth. Props to the people requesting him since day 1! However, since I am a complete Ori fanboy, I have to say that Steve's inclusion basically guarantees no Ori in Smash this go-round. Which makes sense, after all Minecraft has sold over 150 million units, while the latest Ori game is somewhere in the 2 to 3 million category. So I recognize that Steve deserves it more, but I still would've loved to see Ori. Also, yeah the moveset looks like an exact blend between your moveset and Delzethin's moveset.

Her studio--Moon Studios--is an independent developer that Microsoft publishes for. I highly recommend checking out the games, since they are now available on Switch. Does that help?

The thing I like about Steve is how well they copied the elements of minecraft without making him too stiff During some scenes it genuinely looks like they superimposed Steve into the stage, especially with the FS

A.) I hope that the different weapon's materials are upgrades and not aesthetic. Givin that Steve is a character that should be someone that gets stronger the longer they're alive. B.) I super curious how everything works, there looks like there's more abilities than traditional inputs so there's something going on. C.) My boys Skeleton and Zombie Pigman missed the invite. D.) There definitely could be a difference between pressing and holding buttons, like hypothetically placing a block could be linked to pressing neutral special, but placing a TNT block and trailing the redstone is mapped to holding the neutral special, and maybe the length of the trail is based on how long you hold it? That's a GUESS. E.) Steve dittos BETTER start with T-bags or the nod.

Another cool thing I noticed is that the blocks look to be breaking automatically. You could see it when they were building the house around Pichu and when Steve was stacking them to get away from Lucas. I wonder if the blocks destroy themselves at different things depending on the type. Also, I may have been wrong, but when Steve was getting that Iron from battlefield, I saw him dig a block as well. I think it was stone. Does that mean you also need to get blocks to build. That adds another level to this building gimmick. Minecraft is a game that can be represented in so many different ways, and that’s why I love it. This is probably the most I’ve looked forward to a presentation just because this character looks so complex and it’s hard to tell which moves go where. I’m also guessing after you put down TNT you can’t put down another and you automatically place red stone whenever there’s already TNT. But still, that doesn’t explain how you put down the switch that activates it. I thought it was automatic after you reached a certain limit, but it’s obvious you can stop it whenever you like. I’m so confused and so excited.

What I think the specials are Neutral Special- Place Block. Maybe you could directionally input it after pressing the button. It could also be positioning based, where a block will place in front of you while in the ground, but will place below if you're in the air and close enough to the ground. Up Special- Elytra. You could probably press the button while using it to use rockets, to either increase your speed or gain height Side Special- Minecart and rail, it would probably function like Bowser Jr's side special, as we also see them get out of the cart Down Special- TNT Trap (Where they also place Redstone and a pressure plate). Since you don't instantly set it off, I'm assuming it's limited to 1 at a time. I'd also imagine holding the button would extend the redstone line.
