This 1998 Brawny commercial features two old ladies seated at a kitchen table spilling tea. They compare the difference between Bounty and Brawny, and one of them tips over the refrigerator. The announcer goes on to say that Brawny is up to 19 pounds per sheet, in all sloppy messes better than Bounty can. One woman tips over the refrigerator, and the other woman says, "So that's the Brawny kind of mess." The slogan at the end is "Got a Brawny mess? Get a Brawny paper towel."👍

Either the company is false advertising which is fraudulence or that Brawny lowered it's quality or Bounty raised it quality over time. All the tests have been done show bounty is better. This of course could be people paid by bounty to be dishonest but that is unlikely

This commercial is completely false advertising. I know from experience Bounty is much stronger then Brawny. Though maybe back then they were made with different material that made Brawny stronger then they are now.
