Braylin's Story - 2023 Children's Miracle Network Champion

Braylin McMullen is the 2023 Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) at UC Davis Children’s Hospital Champion. Her health journey began when she contracted E. coli when she was 3 years old. The bacteria damaged Braylin’s internal organs, requiring surgery. She was also diagnosed with end-stage renal disease and Type 1 diabetes. Braylin had more than a year of dialysis and then underwent a kidney transplant operation at the UC Davis Children’s Surgery Center. She is now living her best life and representing CMN at UC Davis.
