Rodrygo was that good & no mention, yet they even ask if he starts. Rodrygo is the only player in Brazil that can connect in tight spaces like that except maybe for Neymar. Paqueta can do it but it's not as good tight control & Vini is improving. It would be crazy to not have Rodrygo when the best performance was largely to him being unplayable to Stones, Rice & Gallagher.

The problem with Rodrygo is that he is not an elite final third player, though he's a good finisher. He's similar to Foden. Both are really good in tight space, but aren't great at one decisive action. In the case of Rodrygo, as a #10, he can't play that big chance creating pass that someone wearing that shirt for Brazil should be able to play.

One national team who's being overlooked is the Italian one. They're starting to stack up some serious talents from the under 15 all the way up to under 23. Remember the name Destiny Elimoghale. Hes 15 and with the Juventus youth sector and Italy under 15. This kid is very very special. I wouldn't be surprised if he featured for the next generation team and possibly train with the first team next year.

With all due respect: These are some of the dumbest ideas I have seen. This is a sure way to wind up like Boehly. You want to remove the core of the team that can pass on knowledge about Madrid and bring in two new LBs, three new CBs, new RBs.. This isn't FIFA mate, this would fail horrendously.
