My favorite Gardener, cheers Khang. I can imagine the pepper hick-ups from this...

Done that few years ago with habaneros and Bombay Sapphire. As you say man this is no joke ! I gave away a bottle to a friend and I think he still have it. Taste was great and the heat ... man the heat was like nothing I experienced before. The alcohol will extract everything from the chili much better than oil or vinegar. Cheers buddy I guess I m gonna do a few bottles this year since I watched you video.

I really like the color of the bleached peppers, pretty cool Khang.. and I'm thinking Bloody Mary would be a good one to try with it. For cooked, maybe drizzle a little over mussels or clams when you steam them open.. add some garlic and shallots and finish it with a little butter to make a sauce! Mmmmmm.. I'm getting hungry! =)

Instead of adding 4-5 peppers and only being able to drink a few drops, have you tried only using 1-2 peppers?
@tbabubba326827 жыл бұрын
I think you could use the vodka as a vanilla extract substitute.

Got some habaneros that are going to ripen pretty soon. I wonder if a flavored vodka would work?
@KhangStarr7 жыл бұрын
I would not suggest using flavored vodka, it will take away the nice aroma of your peppers.

Sir Khang, Have you ever made a pepper tincture (used as a health aid in promoting circulation and stabilizing blood sugar and lowering blood pressure) using vodka and dried peppers and fresh blended peppers?? I made several batches last summer and am trying to perfect my craft and thought maybe you could offer some tips? Thanks for your interesting videos on peppers!!! Phil S. Carolina

I smell the heat from the screen lol I know who won't be trying this until I get my tolerance up. I'm growin some peppers now to experiment with the kratky and soil methods you show on videos

Damn, this is a good channel! OK, we've made over 100 small batches of Carolina Reaper Bourbon (Kentucky here) and I have some tips... If you do GIFT this, include a cheap eye-dropper with every gift AND always swirl it around in mouth a good bit like you were sucking a jolly rancher candy. Early swallowing means sore-stomach. Cheers!!!

Khang Star, I think I have an idea you will like. What if you made "Mini Fire Water Ice Cubes" I use these mini ice cube trays called; Good Living Silicone Mini Ice Cube Tray, assorted colors. You can find them on Amazon or eBay. Also; it would probably be a good idea to color the ice so that people are warned. Note this type of ice cube try is not to be bent; instead you only push out the cubes from the flexible bottom after the ice as thawed a bit. Then you can store them for future use. Cheers! :-)

You in TX also? I'm in Plano area and also do pepper... Super hots , extracts etc.. Maybe we can trade some pepper seeds or other hot stuff if we same area :) I want to make infused vodka or whiskey, but was thinking to use ground ghost and reaper since I don't currently have fresh. I'm sure the flavor will be somewhat less using dried, but have u ever try dried pepper infused? Also, how many pepper did you use it would you recommend? I want it hot for sipping on, but not so hot a little sip will light me up. I my tolerance is I usually eat about 1/2 a reaper throughout a meal of food .... If that's tells you anything
