I generally don't use extreme exploits, but allowing myself to do everything gets silly really quick. The cheese really starts opening up in episode 2 (and Randy starts to super wake up). Also, this run was right when medical stuff got to its worst point. In the middle of this run I had to take TWO MONTHS off RimWorld due to specialist visits, hospital stays, and tons of trial medication. re: tribal growers in caravans Can confirm growers can scoop up tons of berries when caravanning. Once you have 3-4 growers around level 10 you can scoop up mad amounts. However, the 170% bonus is a faction specific bonus, meaning that no pawns in a crashlanded start get it and all pawns in a lost tribe start get it, regardless of their backstory. Haven't seen the "camped forager" cheese yet, but looking forward to it!

They removed the scyther blade because they removed the ability to down mechs because if that happened to a lancer you could remove the charge lance and if you were lucky you could do that early game

I made that mistake of using mods right away. going to restart on my other steam with no mods to try it vanilla. Also I can try out the different combos with the dlc there, and not have to deal with mod compatibility, conflicts etc. I heard that you can run Ideology with out Royalty and plan to experiment with that. Love the streams and videos, keep healthy.

Perhaps you've said this already, but do you have a definition for exploit? Like large maps aren't an exploit because the game presents them as an option, even though they make it easier for most playstyles. My favorite trick, settling other tiles to open dangers, probably is (and definitely is once you've got pawns good enough bust them open with little threat), but I don't think settling a second colony to grow or mine would qualify as an exploit. As you said about floor flowers, the developer could take them out, so in that sense they're more of opportunistic thing than an exploit, like circling beds around a nightstand or getting great bonuses from a single large room (neither of which seem to be intended, but they don't break a feature like the hilarious breacher beds). That got me wondering if you have a strict definition.

To go into what was discussed at the beginning of the video: Yeah, I generally play this game to relax, but at high difficulty. I'll jump in with all techs researched and things like infestation turned off, play for a week, then go back to playing other games. Just do what's fun for you.

For the breacher exploit if you assign beds far away how do you stop the colonists from sleeping there?

Just keep them in a zone that those beds aren't in, like I've done in this series. They won't ignore their zones to sleep in their bed or anything.
