Bread Pockets
Servings - 3
INGREDIENTS
Yogurt - 200 grams
White bread slices - 5
Salt - 3/4 teaspoons
Chilli flakes - 3/4 teaspoons
Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Oregano - 1/2 teaspoon
Honey - 2 teaspoons
Onions - 60 grams
Tomato - 55 grams
Green chilli - 2 teaspoons
Grated carrots - 50 grams
Coriander - 1 tablespoon
Bell pepper - 40 grams
Cucumber - 50 grams
PREPARATION
1. Place a strainer on the top of the bowl and cover it with clean cloth.
2. Add 200 grams yogurt and cover it with it.
3. Place moulder on it and rest for 1 hour.
4. On a board place white bread slice and make it flatten with the help of rolling pin.
5. Now, cut it into half.
6. Now, take one piece and join the corners and prick a toothpick in it. (See video)
7. Place it on a baking tray and preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C. Bake for about 4 - 5 minutes.
8. In a bowl, add prepared hung yogurt, 3/4 teaspoon salt, 3/4 teaspoon chilli flakes, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon oregano, 2 teaspoons honey and mix it well.
9. Add 60 grams onions, 55 grams tomato, 2 teaspoons green chili, 50 grams grated carrots, 1 tablespoon coriander, 40 grams bell pepper, 50 grams cucumber and mix it well.
10. On a board, place baked bread piece and remove toothpick from it.
11. Add prepared stuffing in it.
12. Serve.
