Flourless bread recipe! No nuts or dairy products! It is based on eggs and psyllium. Some will wonder if it tastes like egg? No. Let it cool and it will be delicious! It will flatten out a bit as it cools, this is completely normal. A quick bread to make. Perfect for people sensitive to gluten. Good tasting !

Ingredients :
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
20ml hot water
20 g of Psyllium (1/4 cup + 2 teaspoons)

Made this straight away. It's a great recipe. It works and tastes and feels just like bread but it's better for you. The mother's at my prayer group who are also Gluten intolerant asked for this recipe too so I have shared it along. Congratulations on this creation. Bless you for sharing. It really helps us in our restrictive diet.

Oh my GOD !!! I just made these today and I am blown away with how great they taste. No difference at all from regular buns. I also did something unique: I only had metamucil handy ( orange flavor ) so I used that instead and sprinkled some sesame seeds on top before started the baking. This is it !!!! I will never buy regular bread again. It's that tasty !!!!!! And being type 2 diabetic these rolls do not spike your blood sugar at all. So it's a win-win - both tasty and healthy ...

I made these, they were tiny! Next time I’ll just make two instead of four. They tasted ok though, a bit eggy and needed more salt

Idk why you were surprised they were small, the entire volume of them are 2 eggs and a ~third of a cup of other ingredients As for the eggy taste, I still don’t know why you were surprised literally half of it is egg

Creo que se puede sustituír por semilla de lino molida,(harina de lino). La semilla de lino se puede moler en molinillo de café. También se pude comprar ya harina.

So I have made this before and so happy I found this video again because I forgot the measurements. When i make it I have added a little flaxseed meal and a tad nutrional flakes for extra goodness and flavour. But this recipe stands alone as a classic winner. Everyone should try it and be amazed. Thank you. Yes I did subscribe and like and share it everywhere.

That much Psyllium husk….might block you up pretty bad…or give you diarrhea…no? Did you have a belly ache?

@@krisyas3136 Yes I agree it can cause some problems like abdominal pain and cramping. It is not recommended to give to children under 6 . It's also recommended to drink a lot of water with it to avoid intestinal blocking. I used to use it for a while when it was incredibly cheap to buy. I also used Metamucil. Then stopped using it all because despite increased water it still caused those symptoms with me. I really like the recipe, but I use flaxseed meal now and will try a similar one using that for making bread one day.

This is excellent. I have a couple of recipes that call for psyllium but haven't made them. I will definitely buy it now and try this recipe. I love the dual language instructions. It reinforces my French classes from 40 years ago and I'm so happy to be able to understand so much after all this time.

I just made this. It is incredible.. So delicious.. way to get a lot of fiber and it is keto and it tastes amazing. Ate right out of the oven. Yummy!! thank you for this amazing gift to us

Bonjour J'ai fait cette recette avec hâte et avec beaucoup d'intérêts cependant le résultat pour ma part n'a été qu'un réel fiasco . Le goût des œufs est prépondérant, la pâte est élastique sans aucun goût donc insignifiante . En revanche le spectacle des patons qui gonflent au four est un régal des yeux ..mais ces soit disant pains "s'affaissent malheusement aussitôt sortis du four. Pour moi tout est parti à la poubelle et sans introduction de farine même sans gluten je ne comprends pas comment ces pains peuvent tenir gonfles , ils n'ont aucune consistance , ne sont pas mangeables malgré tous les ingrédients respectés et intégrés à cette recette .. J'ai voulu essayer avant de donner mon avis , tout ce qui est diffusé sur you tube n' est pas forcément bon . Enfin chacun y trouve sûrement son compte Bien cordialement

Do not forget to drink A LOT when you eat this. Otherwise you will be in trouble. 😉 A great way to get some extra fiber. I am going to try this. 😁

Fantástico los haré. Sólo una anotación : cuando se consume psyllium hay que beber bastante agua porque si no se puede hacer una obstrucción intestinal ya que el Psylium absorbe mucho líquido.

Other sticky fiber binders include chia, flax seed.... But they will all act as fiber on the digestive tract....

Je connais bien cette recette, mais j'utilisais le bicarbonate de soude au lieu de la levure chimique et je trouvais que ça n'avait pas bon goût. J'ai testé avec la levure chimique et c'est juste top! Tu viens de me rendre un grand service , merci!!!

I've made these several times now and they're fast becoming a staple in my house. I bake them at 350F for 20-30 min and they don't deflate when they cool down.

I spread half with butter and vegemite or bonox with dried parsley sprinkled on top, the other half with nut butter and homemade jam will be an awesome replacement for 2 pieces of toast that I miss with my daily cup of coffee for breakfast. I added olive oil, salt and dash of vinegar/lemon juice to activate the bicarb soda, baked them in my convection oven so I can see them brown. Then turn them over till they're brown all over. don't worry if they sink a bit, they puff up again in the oven.

Делала этот хлеб . Скажу не вкусно , тягучий , не ароматный одним словом как мыло . Вкуснее из овсянки более плотный и приближен по вкусу к обычному хлебу и ароматный . 💁

NOW Psyllium Husk powder immediately absorbs all of the egg and makes a very firm dough that doesn't rise or spread in the oven. So what form of psyllium to use?

In minute 0.48 you add something (after the 20 ml of water and before the psyllium) but in the screen there is no information about quantity or the product.

Ok.....I made these. My psyllium husk is brown and not white?? And is that powder u used, or whole seeds? I have brown seeds & ground it into powder as much as I could. So my buns came out brown, not white. My verdict is: they were quick & easy to make and were perfect first try! I tried it with butter first. I must say I don't like the bland taste or the consistency. It was a bit gritty & dense, not light. It went down better slathered in butter AND jam! However, I will get the white powder and try again. And, I will add protein powder to the recipe and maybe some yoghurt. My other gluten free microwave breads tend to do well when I add those. I'll play around with this recipe a bit, till I get a taste & consistency I like. Thanks for the basic recipe! 😘

Amazing fiber addition for us all. Americans in particular do not eat enough fruits and veggies, leading to chronic constipation and often bowel diseases such as polyps and colon cancer. The elderly often suffer from constipation as well as a result of aging. I will def try this with my 98 yo friend! Thanks!

Just remember that you need to drink a good glass of water (or decaf tea) with psyllium, otherwise it will bind you up (esp your dear 98 yr old friend) - also maybe don’t eat more than one bun - too much psyllium causes quite a lot of digestive distress.

Looks like a great food idea, but psyllium is pretty pricey, at least where I'm at.

I thought these were only 'ok' If you're starving for bread, then they're a passable substitute. Just don't think you can serve these buns to people who regularly eat breads made with wheat, and expect them to get excited about them. To my palette, there's a bit of sliminess to the texture, which I think can be blamed on the psyllium. I'll try these with burgers or egg salad, to see if it distracts from the texture.

170-190 Celsius about 15 to 20 minutes to bake. But because each oven is different either gas , fan , electric , thin bottom , thick bottom , some are made with stone base ..all these details would change the game . So the common sense would tell you to check now and then and make sure not to set the kitchen on fire 🤣 Middle shelf on backing paper if possible . If the bread looks "tan" that means is ready .

Das sieht sehr interessant aus. Ich habe leider nur Flohsamenschalen. Gänge das auch,wenn man die Menge vielleicht erhöht? Hast Du mittlerweile da Erfahrung? Kann msn die Eier vegan ersetzen?

La receta me parece una alternativa genial al pan tradicional pero creo que deberías avisar que no es recomendable un consumo continuo del psyllium ya que puede provocar problemas intestinales si su consumo se vuelve habitual.
