people name these guys as top 5 like they know anything about history. Usyks an ATG, in a sport as old as boxing theres a shit load of ATGs id say even if you try to make a top 500 p4p all 500 are legitimate great fighters whod be somebody in any era, thats just how it goes

Facts bro! Finally someone saying some boxing history truth. His resume is thin at HW compared to all the past established OG’s. No comparison. Boxing modern era goes back to the 1880’s - 1890’s. Hundreds and hundreds of bad asses throughout history with crazy accomplishments and records. Usyk with 6 pro fights at HW simply doesn’t compare. However thats not saying how skilled he is or how difficult of a stylistic matchup he would be for most upper echelon HW’s throughout history. He is talented no doubt. Thats a different hypothetical argument. But stats, resume and accomplishments just don’t stack up to the traditional top 10 HW all time list.

His thoughts are sound...im just so impressed with Uysk for talking out gaints....some of the eras are unfair because a group of men appeared that can never be replicated ...so Uysk can only fight who's in front of him and he did that ...he can t be penalised for not fighting in the 1970s or 80s or 90s ...these were golden eras, will never be repeated and boxing changed

Good lord, who the heck is saying Usyk is an all time great top 5 HW ever? Man, don’t people read anymore or do research? He is a current P4P elite fighter today like Bud, Inoue, Canelo, Bam etc. But why do people gotta immediately say “great” for anything and then say they suck or were exposed the sec they slip up. Everything is in extreme. Just appreciate the fighter in their era for what they are doing before going over board with ridiculous accolades.

@@JeffPenaifyFacts! I’m going to go further and say this: Ussyk, is a tad overrated! He hasn’t really fought that much at heavyweight to be given such lofty titles. He got knocked out in sparring by Bakole 2x!! And he has been gifted at least three fights! And for what it’s worth, he was gifted the last fight against Fury too! There is no way he gets past Ali, Lennox Lewis, Holmes, Tyson etc forget about it..

Usyk is in the ATG P4P conversation, which is better than being Top 15 HW. P4P is where you want to be. He has done more than most HW to this point anyway, because he cleaned out CW. Even Evander did not do that.

Becoming an undisputed champ is an outstanding/ great achievement IMO, but winning it 2 or more of course you’re an ATG fighter. Tim Bradley was crowning Tyson Fury as an ATG that would beat everyone, but Usyk beats Fury twice and he’s unwilling to give Usyk the same praise. He won’t even say the man’s an ATG; keep in mind not all ATG fighters are created equal.

It's just pure hate and balderdash. Usyk has the potential to survive and rise to the top in any era. His resume speaks for itself as undisputed at Cruiserweight and heavyweight. He may not be a puncher, but was Mohammed Ali a puncher? Why then is Ali considered All Time Great? Usyk's boxing IQ is a great secret of his success. I really don't know what else people want Usyk to prove to be considered a top 10 GOAT. Just pure trash, really.

If we can call Mike Tyson a top 5 all time great we can call Usyk one, simply because Tyson come unstuck whenever he come up against a elite fighter, and before people say Larry Homes, he was way past his best when Tyson beat him, and the guys who Tyson knocked out all had poor records. Just go through Tysons wins thoroughly, and look and his opponents records, and its crazy how mediocre those guys were. Usyks fought top guys in their own back yards half the time, and the weight, height, and reach disadvantages he had makes him a definite top 10 maybe top 5 all time great, or maybe he needs to fight a handful of bums like most fighters have? That argument doesnt wash with me, because he got to the same destination but with less padding, and that should be looked at as a positive, not a negative like some haters are claiming.
