I have truly enjoyed both of your video like this on bread tips. So pack full of information, Thank You Jack. I have written out each Tip title and the time it starts .. And keep it with the video for quick access to a specific tip I need at the moment.

thanks Jack for all the great tips. I've only just started making bread and I've found a recipe that works for me. I found that I was not able to identify, if the loaf was done using the tapping method. But I found if I get a internal temp of 95 C using a meat thermometer it was perfectly baked. have you ever heard of this method?. All my bread is baked in a air fryer as my oven id dead.

I think it was Jack who suggested using rye flour to start your starter *sorry. Jack is rubbing off on me*. I find it pretty foolproof.🙂

I know a loaf has to sound hollow but I'm flummoxed by soft buns. They are always soft on the bottom so how will I know they're properly done?

Might be good if you can actually get Buttermilk Jack. No stores near to me sell it as there's no demand. How about milk/white vinegar or Milk/lemon ?

I use milk and lemon. Great in scone recipes too

I use half plain yogurt and half milk mixed together when I can’t get buttermilk. Sometimes I can get buttermilk powder from a bulk food store. Good luck.
