Break dance is alive even today in 2020! I was crazy about it back in the days. Breakin', the movie, was an awesome childhood experience...

I grew up in the 90s but stumbled across this video somehow. Lent it to a friend & didn't get it back & back then there was no KZbin. Good to finally see it again after all these years!

I searched everywhere for instructions on breakdancing, and I found this VHS at a local video rental place under special interests(before the internet). I felt like I found literal gold! People don't know how hard it was to get info back then or even find good music.

Brilliant to see this here. Being a second generation bboy starting in 1982, this brings back so many emotional memories of such a great era. If you were there it's hard to describe how crazy that bboying era was, it was just everywhere you went I mean everywhere. I can still remember the layout of the video shop we hired it from & everything about it. I'm a proud owner of the same very rare videotape of it I rented from that shop, it's a rare treasure to have & thanks for putting this up.

In break dance, i was teaching the best moves on the special event on the 2018 Summer Youth Olympic Games at Buenos Aires and 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. I love this best Breakdance instructions of the best video. Plus, my dad was a pro break dancer for many years ago. I really love this break dance music on the dance school on this video.

I hired this video on my tenth or eleventh birthday I think for my birthday party. Break dancing was big at the time. What can I say. I thought he'd show me to do an eggroll and it would be easy. Damn my young optimism. :-) Luv and Peace.

Me to bruv I also got this about 10 yrs old learning all the moves ha ha things you do as a kid.

Mr Ian - by mentioning the "eggroll" you've legitimized that you're from that era! At that time, all "windmills" were "rolls". I'm from an era when there were no specific names, moves were just called "spins". Imagine - "yo, his dancin' was fresh! He did a spin, into a spin, then spinned!" LOL 😎 HIP-HOP YA DON'T STOP!

at 14:52 you can hear the track called 'Garage Dance' playing in the background. If you've seen the movie Breakin' then you will remember this track playing when Ozone and Turbo are practicing in the garage and the heavy beat kicks in...that's Garage Dance. I have the full original track, two versions - also some trivia > @ 49:04 that's Graff Flix (Aaron Ferguson) doing the flare/windmill. he is an original member of Shake City Rockers and was sat on the speaker in the Radiotron battle scene in Breakin'. He created some of the graffiti artwork in the Radiotron club.

Compared to Shrimp ozone was an armature! I mean hes obviously an amazing dancer, but compared to shrimp he just wasnt in the same league! I know they have different styles and all but Shrimp was/is a tenth degree black belt master of breakin!

It's amusing to watch this , but I'm glad I didn't learn from this tape. This was a cash in on the so-called break dance craze then that wasn't really meant to be a fad but an art
