It was really good to see this - to see how low YT income can be, even when you're doing so well! Thank you for sharing. You offer this information so clearly and openly that it doesn't come across difficult or awkward in any way. Thank you!

This is so helpful Ashley!! This information isn't easily accessible, and I really appreciate you taking the time to share so openly. It's so important to realize there are multiple revenue models, depending on what works best for you. You've done an incredible job with paying attention to the online yoga space and the details yoga teachers need when beginning and throughout the process. Thank you for being a resource for us teachers, we see you! Much love

I’ve been following you for years, amazing to see your life progress as you gain wisdom and love! I see you’re in a new space, would love a Q&A or update video so we can get some insight into how your life has expanded since you closed your studio. Well wishes!

Wow! I have watched SO many yoga and wellness business advice videos, read multiple books, AND I'm in a business coaching program with a whole ass circulum and this video is the single most helpful piece of content I have ever consumed. Thank you, seriously, THANK YOU.

Wow! I so appreciate you saying this. This comment far exceeds the one that's calling me evil for talking about money. Haha. 😂 I'm so glad this video was so helpful for you. ❤🙏🏼

Thanks a lot for hitting publish!! 🙏 I’m wondering how many courses do you have? Just to have an idea. Also, I’d love to hear which newsletter do you use or recommend. I’m not sure if you already have a video on that.
@AshleyHagen11 ай бұрын
I have courses that range from $37 to $997. I have created at least 20 courses and currently have around 10 up for sale in various places. However, more offerings does not mean more money. In fact, it's usually the opposite. I am not launching or actively selling most of my courses. Having one or two really great courses is going to be more beneficial than offering a wide variety. It's like niching down. You'll go farther the more specific you are. But as always, it depends on your strategy. And for sending email newsletters, I use Convertkit, but often recommend OfferingTree as an all-in-one for those just getting started.

This is awesome, I love the transparency. I think it is a little off or not quite right with the title though, could be mislead ing and something to think about, that it’s not the amount you made as an online yoga teacher actually but as a course creator and business coach no? You made very little money actually teaching yoga, which is fine, but not the title.
@AshleyHagen11 ай бұрын
Online yoga teaching comes in many forms, and online courses is one of them. And I am training yoga teachers in topics they don’t learn in YTT, so I’m not sure what to call that. Some of my courses are yoga related, some are teaching how to do it. I am not sure how to categorize or title myself. It confuses me, too. But I am still primarily an online yoga teacher. 🤷🏻♀️

Do you have a video that discusses how to use Zoom for teaching people and how to charge for your services? Second question is What platform do you use for one-on-one teaching?
@AshleyHagen11 ай бұрын
Yes. Full Zoom tutorial for online yoga teaching - kzbin.info/www/bejne/b3eugoCZhJKraKs I use OfferingTree for all of my appointments and class bookings and it's automatically integrated with Zoom. offeringtree.com/ashes

I'd love to learn more about Affiliate Marketing. Did you need to have a certain sort of network to grow that part of your business? If you'd make a video about that in particular, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for all the awesome content :)

Thank you for the information! Do you think this will be sustainable over a long period of time without high stress? As your life develops, maybe with a family etc? .. any advice on that
@AshleyHagen9 ай бұрын
Yes, absolutely. In the video, I'm not sharing that I made $12k just one time. I have been earning over $10k consistently for over 2 years. I have 2 young kids and continue to do well with course creation and online teaching. It's actually my preferred work day. My business was built slowly and with sustainability in mind, therefore I know it won't crash.

Hi Ashley, Thank yo for sharing this I appreciate all the teaching you share.... May I ask a Question.... I have FB and IG, however due to some local small town issues with a couple of girls one of which became a YT I was wanting to escape FB and wondering if this will effect the growth of my new online yoga studio that I started in January... I am finding that I am feeling a little precious about being "not local" so finding that when I teach in town that I am doing something not wanted and should leave.... Question is, will ditching FB and focusing on IG while creating content effect the startup of my online studio or should I suck it up and get over my own feelings and insecurities..... Thanks for your time xx

Thank you so much for this! Just curious, how many hours per week do you usually work on all of this?
@AshleyHagen11 ай бұрын
I saw you asked this in the FB group, but I'll answer here, too. Anywhere from 2 to 8 hours on a typical work day. Most days it's 2-4 hrs as I still have a 1 year old at home while my 5 year old is in pre-k.
