I have six children, I make them a hot breakfast every morning. So what are you talking about? Some things frozen are gross. It doesn't take long to cook a fresh breakfast every day.
@AandM86 ай бұрын
@@ASmith-jn7kfI have a 1 year old and if he doesn’t get breakfast the moment he wakes up he is throwing a tantrum until he gets his food. He goes 12 hours with no solids overnight. He’s raging hungry when he wakes up. Even taking the time to cook 1 scrambled egg for him with toast takes too long. A fast breakfast is essential for some of us with a busy morning schedule.

Making breakfast ahead of time, especially if you've got kids or company coming to visit, is very smart and saves a ton of time in the morning. And I liked that the 3 youngest helped you as well, teach them while they're young. I also remember the last make-ahead breakfast video from the old house a few yrs ago, that was just as fun.

It might take “only 5 minutes” to make eggs (I would say more depending how a person eats them) but even 5 times 10 (members of the Page household)is 50! 50 minutes and that’s not counting making any bacon or sausage or toasting bagels and such!! It pays to make freezer breakfast! Plus no matter what were to happen the breakfast are ready to go… so matter if you over sleep,someone has to be somewhere earlier than others or mom/dad is sick or just having a off day these are life savers. I don’t have kiddos but I do have chronic illness and I make freezer breakfast for myself and my husband. He has an ever fluctuating schedule and no matter what my body has decided to do I know we can have a home cooked meal where I was able to control the ingredients. I would encourage anyone to have at least a few freezer breakfast and meals on hand. People get sick,accidents happen or when another family/friend or neighbor is in need you can offer them something you all ready have made.Jordan is making her mornings much smoother 👌🏼

Also, endlessly fascinated by how certain items work at scale for your family but might not for me (i.e. bulk purchasing, sometimes batch cooking). I used to try making breakfast sandwiches for myself for the week ahead of time, but the economics don't work for just me (at least since moving to California; back in Arkansas and armed with an Aldi I could make magic, haha).
