Cancelling bc I feel unsafe has BEEN needed, that’s a feature I like. I shouldn’t feel forced to do a sketchy ride bc of some cancel rating.

The main issue has not solved for the uber eats. When driver took order and came to restaurant and faces with issue( store has no food, somebody already picked up , store closed ) he calls immediately to support and they cancelled the order plus they increase your cancel rate. So due to Uber app technical problem your cancel rate increase and it creates real reason for deactivation.

If the agent cancels the order on their end your cancel rate won't go up. However, if the agent makes you cancel it then it will go up. Always have the agent cancel it on their end.

@@tampaps3ps38 the same situation. It's their system glitch that longer period nobody wants to fix. I have situation when they asked me to cancel because they can't also they cancel instead of me, result was the same , I saw how my cancel rate increased. When I told them about this always has the same answer we documented everything and we can't decrease this point because another team is responsible for that)). That's all folks

They need to let us set up a radius where we work with food delivery... as in, no offers driving 20, 30, 40 miles and then ding our AR. Like a 7 to 10 mile radius from my exact position. Or other areas pinging you from 10 miles away... yes pinging not trip radars. Its absolutely annoying to get pinged like 6 or 7 times within a 5 to 10 minute period of lowball offers from restaurants in a totally different zone... and just watch your AR go down the toilet. Plenty of deliveries where I am perched... that make sense dollar to miles. Also... the repeat pings for SAME order... 2 or 3 times within 5 to 10 minutes... I mean, I declined that backwards offer... should be final that I dont want it. An extra 5 cents is NOT going to change my mind... stop the muti-pings... and stop hitting my AR over stupidity.

They did not (at least it doesn't seem so) allow Uber Eats drivers to start rating restaurants and/or customers. Still very one sided with the ratings for the Uber Eats side of things. Would love to see a rating for the customer I am delivering to before I accept the delivery. Like they seem to have with the Uber ride-share side of the house when deciding to accept or decline a ride-share customer.....

I would like to see the delivery side get some care. I really stopped caring when they stopped compensating drivers for driving to restaurants that were either closed or didnt have the order.

I would also like Uber to be transparent but if you have an issue and questions. They will dance around questions heavily and give very vague replies. Transparency is not something Uber is known for.

What do you mean? I drive eats all the time and get customers that have a pin. It's really annoying because they never want me to knock or ring and take forever to answer the door when I notify them I've arrived. Probably wastes an average of 6 minutes per trip...after 20 trips that means 2 extra hours of wasted time I don't get paid for. If I could choose never to accept pin orders I probably would...but I know that's problematic for fraud reasons.

@@funfun5656 you make a good point. I guess what I meant is that I wish I could choose to require a pin for certain deliveries. Like sometimes you just get a bad vibe…. Contract violation from a lying customer.

I disagree they want to be transparent. They been forced to by drivers , AG offices and lawsuits to be more forth coming. If they wanted to be total transparent, then charge the fare to Drvier fare in which the driver gets 100% plus tips and the book fee becomes their cut . with tolls, airport fees and benifits surcharge showing as service fees/taxes. As it is now Riders think the Fare 100% goes to the driver and the platform only gets service fees and booking fee.

I went out yesterday for Uber Eats and was in a several cities that were supposed to be busy and barely got any orders. Some days are OK but most are bad here in the Metro Detroit area.

Maybe the rental car delivery will work the way it does on enterprise? Their process is the employee drives to you pick you up and then drives back to enterprise before turning the car over to you.

Bingo! Spot on! In my region I am seeing huge warehouses going up all over like mushrooms. The economy is lousy so why all the warehouses? Drones and driverless delivery is why.

flat rate option isn't offered in Boston area at least at this time. interesting considering there is a set minium active hour wage here for the rideshare side of the bussiness which is like a flat rate why not have it. Unless the flat rate is only on delivery side of the platform.

some of these so called updates is nothin gmore than more things around . You can see a summary currently of your earnings , by day and week even see the visit the details of each trip you did. They did an update here in Boston with the new wage law going into effect prior to that update they even displayed miles driven total, after the update that is gone you have to go to each ride and do the mat for that number.

the optimized rider pick up not sure how good that will be, picking up a ride on a main street with no place to pull over safley risk you a ticket to pick up that ride. were as on a side street blocking traffic for the pick up is considered acceptable. I get the maze of one way street can be a pain and some neighborhhod hate the added traffice on the side streets, but I rather error on the saide of a safe pick up without risk of a ticket

Everything Uber does, screws drivers. Period. Just like their stupid reviews and questionnaires, they are multiple choice. They should be typed answers. If you ask passengers what they were charged by Uber, it's nearly always more than what Uber says they charged the passenger. Lyft screwed me out of 30 dollars on one ride, during a surge, (to make their 70% lie work) when I picked up a passenger I had picked up before, and knew somewhat. Uber does the exact same thing.

The timing is very coincidental with this information after it was reported that eight delivery or rideshare drivers in my market were held up and robbed this past weekend truth be known you can do a Google search every weekend and see across the country that a month doesn’t pass without someone getting shot or attacked or worse. It doesn’t have to be this way. They’re safety precautions that could be put in place.

We need more pay for every delivery … what happen is the delivery is $2 or $3 and it depends on the person who receive the delivery because if he or she don’t want to give a tip like $4 or $5 you are scrub because you only receive $2 or $3 and that it all the effort, traffic for nothing … foreal Uber needs to be pay more for delivery drivers for the effort and dedication

What I would like to see is a distance people are willing to travel, like myself. Atlanta airport is an hour and a half away. And further into Atlanta. Can be 2 to 2 and 1/2 hours away. But there's a lot of Uber drivers locally that would not be willing to even do that trip. I would like to say that I'm available for those. And let those who are willing to do that trip, get approached immediately when those trips become available. As of right now, I have no way of even getting that recruitment over anyone else. I could wait for a reservation but that really doesn't even happen that much. My one trip to the airport recently was just someone going on to Uber and seeing if they could go right now.
