You mentioned that, when looking at Walt's behavior, you have to keep in mind that he has cancer. This is true to a point. But when looking at Skylar's behavior, you need to keep in mind that she is a 40-something year old woman going through an unplanned pregnancy with a (so far as she knows) healthy 50-year-old husband who is suddenly staying out late and disappearing at odd hours, who lied to her for weeks about quitting his job at the car wash and is apparently hanging out with a 20-something delinquent from whom he is buying pot (and if this is also a lie the pot story is one he thinks sounds better than whatever he's covering up). Cut the woman some slack! Not Marie though -- she seems to by an out-and-out thief...

Meth is very similar to Adderall. You can definitely still drive after using it. It makes you extremely focused. Might be tweaking a little, but it's nothing like being drunk af. Unless the user has been up for multiple days. That may be more dangerous. The lack of sleep makes a user extremely paranoid and at risk of hallucinating.

For real though: water, and waste water, treatment is an interesting topic. For cities with centralized systems they can do interesting stuff like test for concentration of pharmaceuticals; find out what and how much the city is taking of various substances that can survive for a while in the effluent. Kinda important too. I read about a viral outbreak of Hepatitis that spread across Europe because people were eating raw clams that were raised in an estuary that received sewage overflow during some flooding.

Yeah it was dumb for her to go there for safety reasons, but people think it’s just because she has a stick up her a**. She did it because she could tell Walt was lying and acting very out of character and she attributed it to the pot since she didn’t know about the cancer yet. Also, like it or not, pot was illegal and they’re close to the DEA so it’s reasonable for her to be concerned about her husband getting into legal trouble and losing his job.
