Except, this time, he finally sees it as a real possibility, not as too-farfetched as before. Unless the writers take a different approach, I'd imagine there'd be a ripple-effect of realizations. I'm wondering if Hank's pride will keep him from making a bold move, knowing that while he's been a star in other areas, he's been blind due to a conflict. His personal connection to Walt may save his ass, as it would disqualify him from staying on the case, but his boss lost his job for much less.
