I thought I’d drop in on a random BB episode reaction, and I chose this one. I’ve watched the series a few times, so I remembered what One Minute referred to, but that did not make it any less devastating. 😢 I love Hank Schrader so damn much.

Altho BrBa has has been great so far, this roughly the moment when the show becomes legendary. The second half of this season...yup, enjoy it, you're about to witness one of the best 2 final seasons of any show. Honestly there are only a couple that are as good as BrBa in its final 2 seasons

This isn't a popular opinion, but this was all Hanks fault. This wouldn't of happened if he remembered he was a justice of the peace and not take the law into his own hands the way he did. He has no one else to blame but himself.

Although it was most likely Gus that called to warn Hank, they did make it sound like Merkert (Hank's boss). Perhaps they used his voice to sound like an altered version of Gus'? It did initially make me think that Merkert was tipped off by Gus and called Hank to warn him...I did eventually conclude that Merkert was clean although he was closer to Gus than the rest of the DEA.

19:25 thats not true evie. Hank loves being a cop. Now more than ever... what he didnt want to do was go to el paso a loser..... and have this heisenberg get the best of him. And just get away with it. Yall keep tryong to examines mens feelings. But the truth is people like hank deal with feelings differently. Hank would have been happy to die to these two guys if he knew the whole story. He thinks its about tuco if he understood it was about walter fuckin white. He would gladly die in this shootout! Its not about hank not being happy as a cop anymore .

There’s no question Hank was passionate about the blue meth case, and he wanted to be the guy to catch Heisenberg. And I agree El Paso would have gotten in the way of that. But to suggest past trauma didn’t play a part in him not wanting to go isn’t true in my opinion. When he was sitting on the bed talking to Marie he admitted that ever since he shot Tuco he was “unraveling”. And there were countless examples showing him unravel. Actually the writers went out of their way to show this. So even though he was passionate about the blue meth case he pretty much used it as an excuse not to go. He wasn’t keen on coming across another head on a turtle lol.
