I spoke to this officer -Omata on that night, he was unarmed and was calming everyone down and restraining the soldiers. Eventhogh at the time, I and many protesters were mad at him for the killings that his fellow soldiers just committed, it seemed like he got a call from some superiors to come there and control some of the stupid soldiers that were misbehaving at the tollgate. Once he arrived, he was the one that removed all the soldiers from the area. I do not know for sure who was leading the soldiers when they entered the tollgate and started shooting.
