Kevin- here is something that will make you smile. Back when I was young my Dad would always say once I finish my beer we will go. One Sunday we were in church the priest had just finished the wine after communion. My oldest brother said in a loud voice "Ok Dad he has finished his beer we can go!" Everyone around us started to laugh quietly. My Dad never forgot that. He would talk about it and laugh. Boy I miss him.

Yes I enjoy sharing your life with you and the pups. I learn so much, I didn’t know about turning off the propane. I’m in a van now and don’t have propane like I did in my previous two rigs. I’m finally heading back to the west coast and in the nick of time it’s going to snow where I just left. My new heater works like a champ though, but I’m a warm weather person and can’t wait to see sunny days again. I like Bill’s saying “ always something, always will be”. I’ll remember that. I love those ladders. They are perfect for an RV because they are so compact. Just make sure you read the directions people. I let mine down wrong came crashing down fast on the top my hand. I broke two bones it was so painful I almost passed out.

I thought that you were going to be staying in Quartzsite for the whole winter. I'm going to be there for the big Meetup thing. Papa Drew's RV is holding a big huge Meetup. And having classes on different things. We will probably stay at Quartzsite till the first of April. Unless we get the itch to move sooner. Maybe one day we will meet out on the road

I laughed as soon as you said you had ceramic brake pads. My immediate thought, "They'll squeal". I bought the WolfWise™ 15.5FT Aluminum Telescoping Ladder. My RV has a 13'6" height. I cost a bit but I like it because it has a 330 lb. rating and has a stabilizer. I like the stabilizer because it doesn't sink or tip as easily. It weighs about 35 lbs.

I really like following you CVK. We had a 2004 Tioga but sold it two years ago. Just a 24ft so we went boondocking in the greatest spots and we just loved it. It is always really enjoyable witnessing the details you share. Stay healthy and wise and stuff 😉

Most of the time, I try and use or assemble an item the same day that I purchase it. Sometimes it's weeks after I buy it, only to find parts missing and I have to throw it away, like your ladder. Hope all the essential pieces are there.

Have you tried W D 40 on that ladder that would not colasape ? Worked for my on my ladder, and colasapable rocking chair. I know my spelling is off. fingers are cold..sorry
