I actually really loved the part where Edward attacked Jacob for imprinting on Renesmee. It showed a complete turn from his first stand point on the baby being ‘do you ever think I could love that thing, or even tolerate it, if it killed you? ‘ into a fierce protective/possessive over her that both he and Bella had. Wish they kept it

Everyone’s talking about the imprinting scene, but I love the scene of Edward cooking for Bella. It’s such a natural interaction and so relaxed and we can see a glimpse of their relationship with more substance. It feels so realistic and healthy, compared to the beginning of the series. I really wish they would have kept that scene.

Neha Arora when a shapeshifter imprints on someone, he loves her unconditionally will do anything to protect that person, will try to please them. So basically Jacob found his "soulmate," the imprintee being Renesme can choose to except as her "soulmate" or reject him, which is very unlikely because the imprinter being Jacob is doing so much for her that she'll end up excepting him, if he were to be rejected it's unknown if he'll imprint on someone else. And he would still do everything for her no matter what.

The part where Jacob gets up and leaves the room after Bella drinks the blood is the deleted part. In the non-extended version, it doesn't show him leaving, and he is still presumably sitting on the couch while Carlisle says her pulse is already getting stronger, before it cuts to the next scene.

In the book, Jacob had thoughts of killing Renesme so I guess this part was when Edward read his mind that's why he pushed him. But then he saw Renesme's face when Rosalie was holding her and imprinted. That's when he came out and transformed into a wolf and Edward interpreted Jacob's thoughts - the pack cannot harm Renesme because Jacob imprinted on her.

Cut scenes don’t necessarily mean bad scenes y’all, but when you’re directing a movie and writing the script, it’s impossible to keep absolutely everything in unless you want the movie to drag on endlessly. There’s a lot more thought that goes into what is and isn’t kept than you may think.

This edward is less scary than the edward from the first movie. I remember the edward in twilight was stiff, lack of expression, often frowning, speak in such low slow tone feels like he wants to scare someone. The edward in breaking dawn gets more human🤣 he smiles a lot it is like he put aside those dark aura of him, speaks flawlessly, his gesture and every move now it gets more comfortable...

It mentions it in the book but she is called Gianna. Bella sees Gianna at the front desk and asks Edward if she knows about vampires and if she knows the Volturi will probably kill her. He tells Bella that she does and that she hopes that they will decide to keep her. Also, in the movie, I think either Alec or Felix says that she will only be a meal and calls "dibs" on her.

@@siin-yx1sv I think within their relationship it was a playful comment noticing how much she was eating, which Edward would like because it is healthy as a human to eat. But it also foreshadowed Bella being pregnant in the books and craving the eggs.
