Brave and the Bold has been delayed twice. Gunn doesn’t have a Batman, Reeves does. They both don’t have scripts. Yes they’ve denied it, but if I were to bet on it happening, I think I’d win that at this point. It’s all but confirmed… until it officially isn’t and by that I mean both films going into production. And who said they’d use The Batman or Penguin in the DCU? They can easily use Pattinson and write his Batman differently for the DCU so it’ll make sense.. but I don’t mind the darker take on Batman in a world of superpowered people. Batman has always been dark and has said he doesn’t want to be a part of that shit or their problems unless there’s some worldwide catastrophe.

I think the main reason why the batman part 2 was delayed was because the rumors of James Gunn and Matt Reeves discussing the possibility of integrating Robert Pattinson's batman into the main DCU alongside David corenswet's superman may actually be true after all. At this point i think they should just do it especially since Matt can't keep doing this for long with delaying the film plus i believe that Robert's batman can fit in with the DCU especially since..... 1: Robert himself has apparently been praising the idea 2: it wouldn't confuse the general audience with there only being one batman instead of two 3: This trilogy is supposed to focus on a young batman but Robert Pattinson is almost 40!! By the time part 2 is out he'd be looking like prime/ Arkham batman 4: James Gunn and Matt Reeves are both talented storytellers and I'm sure they can both find a good way to incorporate Robert's batman into the universe having his batman grow from grounded to fantastical.

With this announcement, matt reeves has put his career on the line along with james gunn. The superman movie has to be acclaimed by fans, critics and generate a huge profit. The same thing can be said for The batman part II, this needs to top The Dark Knight, no questions asked, it has to be the greatest comic book movie ever in order to keep fans interested because this is just an ungodly amount of time.

Well,this aint getting me excited for James Gunn Superman or for any other DCU project for that matter if that is their plan with constant delaying of thie movie,Batman was awesome and Penguin was masterpiece so i will just stick with Matt Reeves,sick and tired of attempts at a "shared universe and multiverses",i miss the days of Dark knight trilogy and marvel movies pre MCU.
