@@clarktownsend8991 True, however feature verses are cool too. My bad juice soundtrack was a 92 joint, then he did the posse soundtrack , Don't curse in early 90s . The joint with him, jay'z, shyheim, old dirty bastard etc, those joints just wasn't his best.

I appreciate all the comments and the time taken by the Hot 97 crew to review the battle. However, why isn't KRS played on Hot 97 when he drops new projects? Flowers are cool, but the legends should receive monetary compensation for all they've done for Rap. Play their records and pay them properly!!

These two legends put on a stellar show. Real Hip Hop. KRS One brought the energy. Kane brought the flow. Both had superb stage prescence. I was so disappointed that Kane didnt peform "Ill Take You There and KRS One didnt peform before "You Must Learn". But overall this was an A1 versuz.

Y'all fronting on Kane. I love both but KRS stage performance and breath control sucked.I honestly can't pick a winner because Kane breath control, ability to rap fast or slow plus he spoke clearly and his stage presence won.KRS records hit harder so I'm just happy to see both still doing their thing.Hip Hop Legends.Dudes now are just rappers.

I agree to the extent that Kane's breath control was impeccable but, overall KRS-1 KILLED IT (Lyrically, crowd control, excitement and catalog). Both men are true legends and did their thing.

@@pblagrove Agreed But KRS had the crowd say more of his lyrics than he did and was winded even at the beginning. That really bothered me.Overall tho both Legends killed it.

KRS didn't use P Is Free, P Is Still Free, Squash All Beef, Build Ya Skillz, We In There, Rappaz R N Dainja, Duck Down, Higher Level, Illegal Business, Gimme Dat Woy, De Automatic, You Must Learn, Wannabemceez, T' Cha T' Cha, Ya Slippin', Brown Skin Woman, Drug Dealer, Original Lyrics, Stop The Violence, A Friend and many more classic songs plus features (The Anthem, Symphony 2000, 1-2 Pass It, 5 Boroughs, East Coast West Coast Killa, Men Of Steel, Brainstorm, Drop It Heavy, Conscious Style, Self Destruction and more).
