xopowo! I tried making a cover of that song in ableton last year but your video wasn't around yet. Nice, I think it will help me a lot completing my project. I love that song, it was in some Wipeout 2097 trailer from a magazine VHS I saw as a kid, it blew my mind, but it took me years to find out where it came from.

also why do you have foru of the same eqs next to each other consecutively on the guitar track, surely just one would do instead of four differrent ones consecutively

Sometimes it's better to add several instances of EQ not to mess up some fine tuned settings. Other times I use it for convenience's sake.

why do you have reverb on your sub bass?

Because the sub bass in the original track has some wideness to it, so I added a bit of reverb.
