Truth....I went from shooting in the low 80s and every now again in the high 70 to the yips...couldn't hit a ball..Just from watching to many golf videos....They way I got my game back was I only watch breed videos...that's it...and gained 20 to 30 off the tee....I love this video..I REALLY HAVE TROUBLE WITH PRACTICE...I PICK UP VERY BAD HABITS...THIS IS SUCH A GREAT VIDEO ON WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Michael you are the man. Always been a big fan, close-by in CT and followed your content. I am a very average golfer but I've always had a really great swing. Struggled with a little hip extension, right heel up on the downswing and thus casting and having a very upright shaft at impact... I managed to hover around a 15 handicap there, I always love working on my swing and seeing video and thanks to this video and specifically some work on exaggerating throwing my upper-body down towards my left foot like you explained around the 5 minute mark I have been keep great lag into impact, rarely hitting fat or thin, and striking the ball more consistent than I ever have. Every time I make progress it's from doing a move that feels exactly wrong lol I would have thought this move would encourage hitting fat, or coming out to in and on and on but I can't believe how consistently crisp my swing is and how much it's shown I have been getting by completely on timing my whole life. I Still have a ton of work today but this year alone dropped to around an 11 and hopefully get into the single digits soon, I owe a ton of it to you and your videos. Thank you!

Dear Michael Impressive analysis of the hip thrust move. The V1 system clearly illustrates the positions and impacts thereof. Do you have any more videos to further detail the “move forward” drill, any more info would be greatly appreciated! 👍

4:45 That's funny, moving the upper body forward in the downswing at first glance resembles over the top.

The swing analysis is really spot on as to explain the consequences of early extension. Make real sense and teach us how to use V1 properly, thanks

12:39 as he approaches impact and he rises above the original yellow line - would that not steepen the shaft??
@CorekBleedingHollow5 жыл бұрын
3:45 60 degrees at impact, 48 degrees at address. So that's early extension.

What shutter speed do you need to freeze impact well? Are modern phones sufficient?

Michael you should get V1 make readily available a black or light grey shadow of your self that you could directly put on top of the student. The identify with red areas when the body goes off tilter for the student?

Michael is easy to understand//Shawn clements throw the club is mumbo jumbo ....michael says to dip the lead shoulder on way down to prevent early extension...so easy to understand emulate

Young Rory's iron swing plane was more upright and his ball striking nearly perfect - elite level at 20yrs old. He changed his driver move to get more distance with the modern ball and now his driver swing is GREAT, but the driver power move leaks over into irons and he lost some of the pinpoint accuracy, spin and trajectory control he had as a "kid'. Now he looks like a welterweight long-drive wanna-be with great balance. Like Tiger often found when he backed off and hit more 2+3 irons off the tee - who an can beat you when you have a clean lie in the middle of the fairway and fly a 6 iron from 200 to 4 ft? I love the long ball, but as Jack N pointed out, bomb and gouge all day makes for boring golf. A fairly fast 112mph swing, hit 1/2 off center should not get you into the 300 yd club. used to be more like 117mph with a square, center-face hit. I really think the equipment needs to be reined in because course lengths are getting ridiculous in the PGA Tour events. I'd like top see a more entertaining PGA Tour event with old small >225cc head drivers, pre-1980 forged blade irons and a standardized high-spin balata ball. No cavity back irons, no long putters, no hybrids.
