This was honestly a banger of a video man. I love how you explained the nuances between each stage of her character and how it reflects through her anatomy. Great stuff

abby is one of my favorite female characters in any piece of media. its so nice to see you talk about all the wonderful bits of her character design as well as representing muscular women. a lot of male artists have no idea what we look like lol

Hi Micheal , I'm thinking about buying the figure construction course that you did on proko but wanted to ask: will these concepts will be covered in it, or should I wait for the upcoming gesture course?
@stevenmichaelhampton2 ай бұрын
The construction/skeletal related aspects are covered. There is also a smaller section on gesture.

Would you say most video game anatomy proportions are correct?
@stevenmichaelhampton8 ай бұрын
Not necessarily but that doesn't mean they're wrong. If something is intentionally stylized it doesn't mean that it's incorrect.

The course you've done on Proko, is it suitable for a beginner to drawing? Considering purchasing it.
@stevenmichaelhampton10 ай бұрын
I think so. I approach it from the perspective of how foundation practices lead to a better understanding of figure construction.

Women can have muscles, short hair, wear dark baggy cloths without being labeled trans. It’s getting really ridiculous! I’m so thankful I was a teen growing up in the 90’s because they may of said I wanted to be a boy and put me on puberty blockers just because I liked my hair short, was very athletic, and wore baggy cloths. Let’s stop this!

Yes, labelling people is unwise, especially when they are young. But, labelling has ALWAYS been an issue. On BOTH ends. It's unwise to push labels onto a person who is unsure of their gender, whether labelling them as the gender they are assigned, or the opposing one. Honestly, I believe that freedom is one of the most valuable gifts we can offer the people. The LGBT community often approaches with this mindset, but many fail to practice that value without adopting the same strategies the opposing, established society they were raised in uses. Gender expectations and roles are old. We are far past the need for them to be pushed so vehemently on those who don't fit into the cookie cutter. Those are just my thoughts.
