BREAKING: Hull City sack head coach Liam Rosenior

Hull City have today sacked head coach Liam Rosenior, Sky Sports News understands.
The 39-year-old became the boss at the MKM Stadium in November 2022. Hull missed out on a place in the play-offs by three-points on the final day of the season.
He recently signed a new three-year contract in December 2023, which would have kept him at the club until 2026.
Sky Sports News has contacted the club for comment.

Very good manager and deserves to get a job at a bigger club than Hull. Really harsh decision especially when the teams above Hull are Norwich, West Brom, Southampton and Leeds which you expect to see in the playoffs. Another victim of an over ambitious owner who doesn't understand that the Championship is one of the most difficult leagues around and only missing out with three points as well so sad to see.

I almost feel embarrassed for the chairmans ridiculous decision. Roseniors achievements in a difficult period might still win him the accolade of Manager of the Season. He must have been caught in the chairmans wife's knickers. Possibly the most shocking decision ever by a Hull City chairman and there has been some shockers in the past.

That is bloody bonkers! What are they thinking, he was only missing a number 9 for most of season. That will come back and bite hard, best of luck to Liam, one of the best things at Hull. Devastating, one of the best managers Hull have ever had and the football they played.

We already know Sheffield United are down, and I can't see them even getting into the playoffs next season. Burnley and Luton should be fine for getting automatics but they aren't going to be as superior to everyone in the division as Leicester were.

There must be more to this than meets the eye. One of my club's previous managers departed in mystery too. Apparently it had become well known that he was committing adultery with a married woman who worked at the club, so he had to go.

The most bizarre, ludicrous and egotistical decision made by the owner of the club. I dont even know where to start in my condemnation of this crazy misplaced choice. Liam Rosenior is way too good for our club and has massively overachieved this season against all odds. He will undoubtedly go on to better things and as we are about to lose half our squad I despair for the future. Watch this space whilst we will almost certainly have already recruited yet another no-hoper from Turkey to inflate the ego of the owner.

Hull City are deluded! Say hi to League One. Hull have not looked this good since they were in the Prem, and they have momentum to push on for Prem next year with Liam but are resorting to the same tactics as Birmingham, who will now be enjoying the riches of League One footaball. Liam will be alright and might even land a job in the Prem soon. Keep your head up lad.
