The reason for the wide search is to make it seem like literally there is no stone unturned, which is supposed to imply that whoever they hire is absolutely the right person. The problem is casting a wide net only guarantees you talked to a lot of people, not that there was a guaranteed gem in the slag heap. Could also be that they are doing this so no one can detect what their real direction is, which is also pretty stupid..

My complete utter guess and gut feeling is they like Glenn but maybe weren't completely convinced when they asked him about QB and general offensive talent development. They're possibly willing to bet on him if they can find an offensive coordinator to complement him but not until they get the chance to speak to some other key candidates like Flores, McCown, Brady etc. and see if any of those guys blow them away

The NY Jets have announced that both Beavis and Butthead will be interviewed for the head coaching position with the team. Experts on the inside claim that Butthead when asked about the interview said this… “Uhhhh huh huh huh, like… we’re gonna score! Beavis chimed in Yes! yes!! we’re gonna score! Yes heh heh heh with chicks! So it appears that they are looking at drafting some females to the squad which should be an improvement over recent picks by the team. We will keep an eye on these highly controversial choices as it appears no other teams have interest in interviewing these candidates.

Man, I love your enthusiasm and knowledge of these candidates. I don't know how, but you somehow have me feeling optimistic about the Jets future with a former DC HC 😂😂. Main draw-back is his connections in the league aren't deep; not sure how much talent on the coaching staff he can bring with him, particularly at OC. Jets coaching staff were all bottom-feeders last year, that's the biggest area that needs improvement imo.

Aaron Rodgers doesn't know Hafley. As A Packer's fan, the team is not that well run. The GM has a very poor 1st round Draft record, the team is littered with under-performing 1st rounders who continue to play. Hafley is special, though.
