Miami didn't extend the guy that made them relevant and took 2 trips to the finals, also didn't get him any help this is on them. They have to trade him now because they are acting like they have leverage when in reality Jimmy does. If he opts into next year they will have to pay him 52M and he will likely play minimal games and he'll be older forcing miami into the 2nd apron as well. This is Miami's last chance to trade him while he's got value.

Comical ! Jimmy got paid to handsomely for what he did for the heat already pat won’t give him a raise because what he has done but rather what does he still have left … Jimmy doesn’t have any leverage bro .. if he walks next off season the heat gain cap space and if he opts in he would then get traded to any team the heat can negotiate with. Best thing for Jimmy to do is really bet on himself and earn his next contract instead of becoming a team distraction which well is too late for 😂

Miami Heat season ticket member over here. I don’t want Jimmy traded, but if he is going to be traded, Bradley Beal makes absolutely no sense for the Heat. He's not the player he once was, and he has 2 more years left on his contract for the same amount of money Jimmy was asking for in an extension. Might as well just extend Jimmy instead of trading for Beal. Jimmy trades that make more sense for both teams, IMO Jimmy to GS for players and picks Jimmy to NO for Ingram or Zion Jimmy to Sac for Fox I'm from Houston and a Rockets fans also, I don’t like the trade for Houston, but they do have a lot of good young players and picks. So, for Miami, it would be a good trade
