Actually one of the gripes I had about Wolverine when he first appeared in the X-Men was that he looked too young. I always imagined Wolverine as an older looking, more grizzled character. I think he has aged into the character pretty well.

I would honestly rather see Deadpool team up with other characters, if this is becoming a trilogy. It was made during a….. difficult time. I hope we see quality of storytelling go wayyy up. It seems like they wanted to use that movie to create a through line with the TVA and the void and bring some of those ideas into the movies. Tease the mutants and all that good stuff too. Give us a taste of secret wars. I thought it was a fine movie, but it was really carried by jokes, action, and cameos.

Hugh jackman & ryan reynolds are phenomenal as Wolverine & deadpool. Even unreplaceable, but I think both should be recast after secret wars by younger actors for their new rebooted universe. Thru secret wars is the best opportunity to recat them with no confusion. They'll need actors that can play these characters for 10 to 15 or even 20 years. I'm a hugh jackman, and Ryan reynolds deadpool and Wolverine fab, too. I could see channing Tatum stick around. He's a little younger and has nothing involving Gambit behind him. Man Hugh Jackman can play Wolvie however long he wants. Hugh is The Wolverine. I was 16 years old when the first X-Men movie came out in 2000. I knew that when Marvel got the rights over Fox that Hugh was going to want to stick around so he can be a part of the MCU. Even when Hugh said Logan was the last one I knew it wasn’t going to be. What a run that Hugh has had and still has 25 years later still playing The Wolverine. The man is dedicated to the character.

I really don’t like this idea. This feels like they’re just doing it because it made money. Same with bringing Tobey and Andrew back for spider man 4. It feels lazy and I doubt it’s going to hit the same as Deadpool and Wolverine and No way home did. Too much of a good thing can often undermine it. I want to see a new Wolverine and see Hugh Jackman’s arc end with Secret Wars. If they do a deadpool 4 it would be way cooler to see a team Red movie with spider man and daredevil

I get that argument for Acolyte, but Skeleton Crew is very highly praised by critics _and_ 8 out of 10 fans. It's totally not my thing, but according to my nieces and nephews it's fntsstic. And that's backed up by my family of school teachers who say all their students dig it. Other than Acolyte, none of the Star Wars shows have legitimately failed. People are trying to inflate Marvel's less successful movies too. Yes, of course there's been flops. But just because an obnoxiously loud segment of online 'fans' claim this or that movie is terrible, or bad, or trash etc. It doesn't magically make that true in reality. The real facts are that Marvel is the most successful franchise in the history of movies and shows, globally. That's just as true right now as it was last year. When your profits are as high as Marvel's, it happens because of butts in seats and repeat ticket sales. And audiences don't do that for movies they don't like. Those are facts. You disliking a movie and thinking its terrible is a completely legitimate opinion to have. But it _is_ just an opinion. And no matter how passionately someone feels about it, that doesn't make it so. The numbers don't lie.

If they're going to do a reboot, they need to give it a rest with the Avengers. They should make Spider-Man, Deadpool, the X-Men and the Fantastic Four (etc.) the new faces of the MCU, and tell more street-level stories with crossovers between these characters. If they're not going to use the reboot as a chance to start fresh with new heroes, what is even the point?

I greatly question the legitimacy of this. I don't see how it would make any sense for the majority of the 2008-19 Avengers cast to retire their characters and pass them off to new actors but keep Hugh Jackman as Wolverine when he's played the character for 20+ years. Also, Ryan Reynolds talked about the struggle of finding a real story to tell when co-writing Deadpool & Wolverine and how he doesn't think that he can do it again. So, while Reynolds continuing to play Deadpool in random appearances would make sense for that character, giving Deadpool an ensemble trilogy is a real stretch in my opinion.
