Def positives signs around the likes of Zirkzee , De Ligt and seemingly Amrabat now. Zirkzee def an interesting and different ilk of 9 ; not risk free but for the seeming fee we will pay well worth it if we get JZ. Amrabat i do prefer over Eriksen and Scott or even over Casemiro if Case's form remains the same as the last few weeks of last season where Case was simply diabolical. Amrabat if given a run of matches as the deeper disciplined anchor of the pivot / mid is a solid option. And Amrabat's attitude & demeanor is ideal as well as a seeming humble warrior type. But keeping him can't come at the expense of signing an Ugarte or whichever CM we sign , has to be in addition to ; and ETH has to actually play Amrabat much more than he did last term if ETH insists on retaining the player. Though most importantly can't be just promising signs , interested , linked to such and such player etc. Its time we start officially agreeing deals pending medicals after the international tourneys for any players involved in therm. Getting a bit late in the day to still have not one proper signing or sale.

Zirkzee scored 11 goals last season. Not a lot for a striker. 6' 4" - Zirkzee is closer to Weghorst than some of the great strikers who have played for United, including: Andy Cole, Dwight York, Ole GS, Mark Hughes, Wayne Rooney, Carlos Tevez, or Rudd Van Nistelroy. United still need a second striker.

Onana (mistake to happen in every game) Hojland (work in progress), Mount (hardly played even when fit) and a Turkish goalkeeper who played once) Ineos must NOT allow Ten Hag to repeat his previous transfer mistakes.

Agree pal. Can’t get excited by Zirkzee. There was a highlight reel which made him look bad if that’s even possible on KZbin. Misplacing passes. Finishing looked awful. He’s not the answer. Don’t know who is but very underwhelming.

Kind of sentimental about Amrabat. He looks like the real deal particularly attitude wise, but injuries hampered him & poor setup. I think he did well at the tail end of the season. Zirkee deal is about time, Hojlund needs all the help he can get.

Signing Zirkze and Ugate for 100£ is absolutely stupid when you can get Greenwood and Rabiot for free and splash those 100£ on a superstar like Osimhen. You end up with 3 proven world class players in their prime. On the other hand, you get 2 potentially decent players who could easily flop in PL.
