I'm glad they're going to highlight Spiderman complicated feelings on Doom in this, since he probably looks like Iron Man. Glad they'll point this out. This phase I kind of figured was tricky as far as putting up a new Avengers roster line up. But the again from what I've seen when I first got into Marvel comics, the roster is always changing. And I think some commentators said prior to the movies Avengers was kind of a B team or something. Until at some point later they became the A listers. I hope they figure out a status for them post Secret Wars and maybe have something with them in the background of the mutant saga.

I love the idea of Spidz being in the symbiote suit going up against Dr. Doom in the Avengers movie, because it then sets up what will happen with the suit in the next Spider-man solo movie. Characters for Doom to neutralize: * Carol Danvers * G'iah * Wanda Maximoff * Thor * Vision * Wong This would cause the need for less powerful characters to up their game. That seems like the worst choice. Her only interactions with the Avengers are 1. Her saving Tony, 2. Her telling the avengers she won’t help them to worry about other planets, then she shows up at the end to help fight. I think It should be Dr. Strange. He hasn’t had a whole lot of encounters with the Avengers, but he was one of the main heroes in Infinity War, and one of the smartest Avengers. He has such a team leader feel. Sam would also work too. Especially considering he’s taking it the mantle of the previous leader of the avengers, plus his military experience, he seems like a great choice as well. I would say spider-man, but it just doesn’t feel right. He still feels too young and immature.
