It's not actually known Swallwell slept with her. When he was asked, he Swallwell refused to answer the question. Even inferring that he slept with her does make him different than many Republicans. There's cheating on your spouse in a moment of weakness, versus lying about very important subjects. At this point in history, more Republicans than Democrats lack more integrity. That statement has nothing to do with my ideology. It's just obvious. Donald Trump, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Kari Lake, Andrew Ogles, Ron DeSantis, and George Santos, all have told serious lies that caused harm. The FBI didn't accuse Swallwell of doing anything wrong. There's no evidence she got any classified information from him, and the FBI didn't think she did. Also, the FBI didn't even conclude she was a spy for sure. She was never arrested. She was just suspected of being a spy. So, it's not even known for sure if the entire conspiracy is true.
