How about Caitlin not shoot 30% or below from 3?? She jacks up like 10 or more shots from 3 each nite - usually not making more than 2 or 3. So Clark should take responsibility too - L'et roll tape back to when Candace Parker won MVP her rookie year ... .Did she blame her teammates and explode on the sideline?? HMMMM> Or How about Sheryl Swoopes? She was much more gracious - even in the way swoopes played: Caitlin is a bully when she plays - trying to throw her body around She's a witch out there.at times. Just go look at swoopes rookie highlights: She never fouls other players/ extends her forearm - none of that... Clark does it all the time. So clark should look in the mirror if she wants to improve... Sheryl was Defensive Player of the Year pretty soon into her WNBA career. WE can rest pretty easy knowing Clark will never win that LOL kzbin.info/www/bejne/namvemiBeq52fLc

Very frustrating game to loose....defense and SHOOTING has got to get better...it seems CC doesn't have much of a supporting cast around her except Aliyah. @pariahmonkey
@pariahmonkey Ай бұрын
Losing to the worst team in the league and giving up 100 points is a coaching deficit. The worst thing that could happen is Caitlin just shuts out her teammates and puts the game on herself. She tries hard to get her teammates involved and it's unclear if her teammates lack skill or focus. Coach Sides doesn't seem as invested as much as Caitlin and that's her frustration that is coming out.
@chrissanchez6225
@chrissanchez6225 Ай бұрын
Sides it’s definitely an issue for them as well as some of her teammates lacking Skills. They can’t seem to catch her passes, they can’t seem to make wide open shots, they can’t seem to make shots within 5ft, they can’t even seem to know when to cut or what to do when with the ball and off of it. That last turnover that CC had drove me nuts the fact that it’s still 44sec on the game you down by 4 and y’all strolling down court? While CC pushes and passes 3 out of 5 defenders and when she turns around to look for a pass all her teammates are still not pass the half court line I thought that was a travesty. This game should’ve been a easy win with CC breaking the record of assist with 25 and maybe her having a 2nd triple double. The Fever need to add a 3rd that can help AB and CC if not build the rest of the team around AB and CC and replace the coach. I say bring her old coach from Iowa or get someone like Tim Duncan to coach he did good.

This just shows how far behind the times the WNBA is (pre CC) they still bank on boring lazy passes and lay ups. All their shots were from in the paint and bad rebounds. Its not just her team its the whole WNBA. The coaching across the WNBA needs to be held accountable. Just doing lay up drills isnt cutting it anymore. CC needs help. Nylassa looked uninterested throughout the game, good stat line but mostly a no show. Samuelson has another off night but Sides calls a play for her to shoot a 3 in crunch time when a 2 would do. Caitlin would have 25 plus assists if these clowns could hit a layup or open 3, Mitchell, Samuelson, Smith, same culprits all season. Hull, no show most of the game. No team defense, turnovers, missed 6 free throws, no one could hit an open 3 and you lose to the teamwith the worst record in the league. You lose to the Sky when up 15, the Mystics at home when no one was interested in playing, lose to the Sparks at home, and now tonight. Instead of a solid 6 or even 5 playoff position, you are hanging onto a 7th position. Pathetic really, especially with 3 all stars in the lineup. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

@BEARBULLCUB
@BEARBULLCUB Ай бұрын
Fever fans need to stop saying that Indiana needs to fire their coach Christie Sides. The only thing that the coach is doing wrong is playing Caitlyn Clark for 40 minutes in every game, because the fans want the coach to help Caitlyn go Stat Padding for rookie records. Turnovers and Defensive Effort is a players problem, not something that the coach can have a big effect on, breaking records are the only thing her fans care about. All of their games are played like an AllStar game, they run and gun, and play no defense. Their team is playing with four players on defense because Caitlyn does nothing on defense, she plays 40 minutes in every game and expends all of her energy handling the ball 95% of the time.

I don't blame Caitlin one bit for being frustrated, game in ,game out she shows up puts in the work. Sometime teammates show up, but most of time ,they don't contribute. As in this game against Wings, it was like for most of the game, it was Clark and Boston only players contributing. This is where the Fever needs a coach with professional experience who will disclipine them, hold them accountable for their sloppy ball handling. Fever needs to learn to play as a team, make baskets off of Caitlins passes. Caitlin needs to learn to control ball better when she has it, far to many steals by oppents.

This will not fix The Fever's defense but it will help the defense substantially if Coach Sides starts playing the player who might be the best perimeter defender in the the WNBA, or at least is a top tier, elite defender. Of course you already know that I am referring to Celeste Taylor, who is seeing very little playing time with the Fever.

Well, you make an excellent point. Unfortunately the head coach who is always saying, “We need to figure this out…” waived Taylor who is now playing for Phoenix. Whatever the Fever is accomplishing is happening in spite of the worst head coach in professional basketball.

Why did she set the bench so long? She sat the whole 3rd quarter and part of the 4th quarter? Why, why why? That's why they lost. I've had mixed thoughts about the Coach but I'm now convinced she needs to be fired.

Look at aĺ the 'fouls' Fever were getting called for every time defense tried to play they were getting fouled so it kinda makes it hard to defend the ball n i think refs were kinda playing favs there n messed w their heads that's y CC was frustrated 😮

You can't be expected to win when you keep turning the ball over. Well over 24 pts scored by Dallas off turnovers and Clark is responsible for 50% of those. Heck, she herself turned the ball over at the end of the game which kept them from potentially winning. Every player on that team needs to start getting fined $200 - $500 minimum for each turnover they commit until they learn to hold on to the ball.

Sure...then they will end up with 10 players that will never try to pass the ball (like Kelsey Mitchell!). How about finding players that can make layups and free throws? Or anyone who can also have 10 assists per game.

Not just the team hitting shots, they need to learn to catch the ball and stop making her look bad and it does every time they don't and her stats suffer for and so does she.

they were a losing team the cheapest in the league. and 1 flower doesn't make it any better. The owner has to look for 2, 3, 4 young, hungry players, with 2, 3 old ones! Wherever the game can be made safe, in defense, it doesn't get a break and is destroyed.

Imagine if Caitlin played for a big media market team instead of the backwoods of Indiana? She would have even better stats and a faster start.

Considering Iowa was a project starting from scratch focused on rebuilding, it's safe to say this is nothing new for her and could probably be better for the long term

@@classicclassi6146 I suppose it's one step up from an after-school barnyard basketball team but still, imagine what she could do with top notch facilities, coaches and resources of an established organization. Hey, maybe she can still do it all in Indiana but yikes, a bit depressing to make all that cash and have nothing to spend it on - I mean there's zero culture in a place like Indiana, I know because I grew up in a state not too far away and have been to Indiana.

@@mnn1265Caitlin has enough money to go experience culture wherever she wants during the off-seasons. Perhaps Indy isn’t some glamorous major city, but Indiana itself loves its basketball, which is perfect for someone like C.C.
