I imagine the reason TK didn't let Punk finish things up at the PPV is because it would damage AEW's legal case for firing him. If the company's claim is that he presents a danger to the work place, and that is why he was terminated, then having him show up for another show kinda goes against that logic.

I'm a CM Punk fan, but there's no way you can justify being on his side on this one I mean I bought a CM Punk shirt you can't get more fan than that otherwise I'd be wasting my money. However, I just feel like he brought it on himself. I want to put this out there I do not blame CM Punk for everything. I just think it looks worse on his part for how he handles his situations. The only reason I think he is the one he needs to be fired is because I think from what I'm hearing he's the one who chose to fight first. I've heard what people have said that if you don't expect to get hit then you shouldn't run your mouth. That's when you're on the streets not when you're in a professional environment your job. I don’t agree with the firing because it just feels like he’s firing him because of who he is. there’s been other people that have gotten into fights in that company but because it’s punk and he has to make a statement off of him which I don’t think it’s fair. give everyone the same treatment if it’s that bad, but I genuinely think AEW pays too much attention to the blogs in the wrestling news. There's getting into a fight, and then there's escalating fights. All the other fights in AEW Backstage were typically only between 2 people, and they didn't last long, and eventually most squashed the beef like Sammy and Kingston.
