The fact remains that fans refuse to hold accountable the players for the inability to get the job done, and like he said the players play, not the manager. He spent the better part of the past two years gloating how right he was, and when the U.S. lost to T&T he could only finger point Dest….when it was obvious the team was LOST and lacked any focus or tactical ability to deal with playing a man down against a team made of of amateurs. You’d think we were playing Uruguay!!!! T&T?????!!!!! But Dest was the fall guy and the rest of us knew there were bigger issues! Lalas and the rest of them are all “company men” and gals. I’m sure the Fox producers gave him the green light to finally say the truth about Gregg. Two years too late buddy. Alexi is a talking head who makes sure to make the hot takes and bold statements as long as they are in line with the network and those who run US soccer. He’s part of the problem.
