Thank you for exercising your gift of edification and encouraging others! Just found your channel because of recently started insomnia after months of perfect sleep. I believe, a lot is warfare and the victory has to be won in our minds, but also demons have to be cast out....Also the body of Christ is in a birthing stage, and labor pains, that come with that birthing often do not allow to sleep properly. I do find comfort in the fact, that all things which are seen, do pass, also that insomnia.

My name is Emma and I am addicted to worrying. I guess I feel like it’s some form of controlling what happens to me. I think that if I don’t worry, I will have bad things happen to me.

God is so great we have so little faith. I keep ruminating on something from the past but I know God removed this person for a reason but I keep going back to what could have been it causes so much depression. What makes it even more confusing my life is pretty good and I have a man that loves me. I pray for strengthing faith i know God has better plans for our life.

I had an issue in my life where I could not stop thinking about a certain person, I knew it wasn't right in Gods eyes but felt like I couldn't stop it until I really began praying and also spoke to a number of Christians about it which exposed it to the "Light", just like cockroaches that seem to scurry away and hide when they are exposed, this disappeared completely, I was also able to use this testimony to help someone else in my Church, God never wastes anything. Repent and give it to the Lord and expose it with prayers and prayers of other fellow Christians. "He works all things together for our good" He knows just what you need and will also meet this need because he is true and faithful, and amazing.

Thank you for your prayer this past weekend. I had a relapse last night with porn. This is an addiction that I've had for years. I need to get my boots on and take it captive and let it go. Fear leads to chronic anxiety. God Bless and thank you Kim.

Hi Adrian, I’m glad this video was helpful. I do not offer counseling at this time; however, I recommend Grace Fellowship International for phone counseling at 865-429-0450. I received counseling from Dr John Woodward in my time of great affliction. God used him powerfully in my life. God bless you.

God may have revealed something to me through my unsaved anti Christ, mother. So please pray for me to be accepted as a friend by some Christian out there who really loves the Lord and will not exclude me from many things like mission trips and their wedding ceremony etc because throughout my entire life, I was never called or considered a friend by any church or christian and was not invited to places where the rest of the church members and the rest of University christian society were invited to and welcomed. Also I was called either 'some person's or ' a guest' but never a friend. So I have no idea what I done or have done wrong and why God Jesus did not bless me with any christian friends. So I need your help with this please. Thank you! God bless you!

Aaron, in In case you've given up monitoring the comments, see my reply to you in your recent video Recognizing Your Enemy. It's about the Alan Redpath book you expressed an interest in. I've dug it out and quoted quite a bit in a comment. Ben.

Hi Ben, I searched for your comment but did not see it. Your comment in the recognizing your enemy video says it has three comments, but when I open it, it just has my comment responding to you. I also checked the comments held for review, and I didn’t see it in there. Maybe you can try and copy and paste it in this comment. Btw, because of you, I listened to two of Alan Redpath’s messages recently, and it was very good.

@@aaronkim1074@aaronkim1074 I found a photographed copy on the Internet Archive (Wayback machine). After detailing the illness... 1964, two years after taking up fruitful ministry in Edinburgh having returned from Moody Memorial, Chicago. Lost control of his hand, then legs crumpled. Speech went. A stroke. No pain, mind clear. During a hospital test, a nerve at the base of the skull got trapped. Left side useless, pain for weeks. Felt reduced to childhood. Couldn't concentrate, pray or read bible. Despite himself, asked "Why?" Now I quote: "The depths of despair to which I sank were beyond description: sometimes I spent hours each day weeping. I knew God could work a miracle by healing me instantly, should He choose, but did I have the right to expect Him to reverse the laws of nature, which He Himself had created, simply for my benefit? On the other hand, was this illness a chastening from heaven and not an attack from the enemy? Had the Lord made a mistake in permitting this to happen to me? Can there be any exception to the truth of Romans 8:28 that all things work together for good to them that love God..."? Then I found myself being attacked by tremendous temptation. It seemed as if the devil took advantage of my helplessness to throw everything he had at me - sinful thoughts, temptations to impurity, and bad language bubbled up in a shattering eruption. I remember crying out to God at last, "O Lord, deliver me from this attack of the devil! Please take me right Home!" For the first time in months, it seemed that the Lord drew very near to me. I am sure He was close all the time, even if I did not feel His presence. I had no vision of Him, no dramatic touch of healing. But I do know that a deep conviction came to my heart in which He said, "You have this all wrong. The devil has nothing to do with it. It is I, your Savior, who have brought this experience into your life to show you two things: First, that this is the kind of person with all your sinful thoughts and temptations - you always will be, but for My grace. I never intended to make you a better man, but to indwell you with My life. Second, I want to replace you with Myself, if you will only allow Me to be God in you. Admit you are a failure and that the only good thing about Alan Redpath is Jesus Christ." Of course, this was a truth which, in theory, I had known, believed, and preached for many years, but now I know it in my own experience. Romans 7:18 has lived in my life in a new way since that day. "For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh.) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not." ........ "The Lord showed me that I was putting work before worship. The barrenness of a busy life had taken its toll; my priorities had become twisted. Even my quiet time and my Bible study had be- come less disciplined than in former years. Furthermore, I saw that I had become very proud of being orthodox in doctrine, but alas, not nearly so concerned about my obedience to the doctrine I preached. How easy it is to demand a greater measure of obedience from a congregation than one is prepared to give in one's own life! How humiliating to make such a discovery! This led to a further revelation: I had become much more concerned about the knowledge of truth than about the knowledge of God. Often I turned my Bible study into neat outlines for sermons instead of seeking food for my own soul. Paul's great ambition was, "That I may know Him," not "That I may know truth. "To me, the Lord Jesus had become much more a theoretical and doctrinal Figure than a saving, experiential Companion. As I lay in bed, burdened with such reflections, how ashamed I was that God had given me great privileges and I had neglected them. How I thanked Him for calling me aside to stillness...." I think that's enough to make the point. Your comments are welcome! Keep up the excellent work. Ben.
