It's time to break the cycle of generational trauma. You deserve something a lot better.

Hey, just making sure you're still out there. I hope so. If you are, I want to let you know that as someone who five years ago couldn't see the light at the end of it all, I am finally happy. You can unravel the knots of trauma, one bit at a time. Keep going. There's at least one person rooting for you on the sidelines.

I am not a professional in this field. I do wonder when it is asked if we are self medicating whether there might be some nuance to that. I think the field of biohacking is very taboo and inflamatory but I believe that there are people in that mindset and world that are seeking ways of healing epigenetic changes that may be perpetuating trauma. A lot of these methods were underground and not recognized but have started to become more mainstream and studied. Microdosing or different drug therapies. Somewhere in all of this i get really confused over what is potentially right or wrong or might be self medication disguised as drug therapy or how much these practives may be very helpful.

Candice, this is such an important topic for people to hear. Can we talk about the generational trauma of abortion? My mother's abortion that took my twin's life, but not mine was very traumatic. She kept it a secret for decades. The trauma of that, never being talked about, much less resolved played out through my own abortions, and then working in the abortion industry. When I surrendered my life to Christ the recovery started and the Cycle was broken!! I was pulled out of the darkness of this captivity. That was 42 years ago. It's been a journey. Now, I openly speak about the generational trauma of abortion and the importance of addressing the multiple layers of the damage it causes. We talk about the generational trauma of abuses of all kinds, but hardly ever is the generational trauma of abortion addressed. Can we please talk about this? The cycle continues and until it's discussed, the pain remains hidden. Thank you for your part in increasing awareness!

Historical trauma and generational disembodiment has impact for sure. For ex, hundreds of years of chattel slavery still impacts today's generation.

the british literally colonized the whole world, started slavery, forced the irish into a famine, and other things so yes, it is all your fault and you do not have generational trauma. you are generational traumatizers. you are not the victim.

This is talking nonsense. WOMAN at here is no healthcare in this country., it’s all for profit and most people struggle to get it., there is NO MENTAL Healthcare either. Truth is there should be education provided for people who are becoming parents. Parenting classes should be mandatory and free of charge for all parents and they should be ongoing, not just a few classes on birth and breastfeeding, parenting classes should be taught for all ages of the child’s development . There should be community support , and all kinds of services available to parents who need it., but there is nothing. Also, majority of people who have children come from poor socioeconomic backgrounds, many have been abused, neglected and mistreated by their parents, and yet when they have children themselves they end up repeating the generational trauma over over again because they don’t have education, they have not healed their own trauma and in those situations parents need a lot of help and support. But they don’t get it., and the tragedy is that by the time abuse and neglect is recognized as this woman states, by then the damage is done. It be better if people were actually given resources and help beforehand so such issues don’t even occur. The whole world is in a mess and yet everyone can take small steps towards educating themselves.
