My second baby just turned five months and my oldest is under two. Their father was a nightmare during both pregnancies, so I left the second time (should have been the first). It’s a hard battle doing this alone every day, but this is FAARRRRRR better than what I experienced with their father- It was awful, I felt awful, and he made me feel so unworthy. Keep your heads up, ladies, and pay attention to the one who actually caused the problems between you two... if it wasn’t you, then cry, vent, heal, and move on as you thank God for your ability to grow and change. Told me he went to a strip club to “eat” and told him that didn’t make me comfortable, didn’t feel like he was acting like father material. It is tough. But I learned to remind yourself of the bad things about him and not the "good" things or what you recall as the good qualities about him. It's hard. I'm going through it now. They seem happy but men move on and deal with woman or other vices to try and get over "us". But just know he is someone else's problem and not yours. That relationship may work and that at times hurts more because we ask ourselves what's wrong with us. Nothing...just wasn't for us. Hurts still yes. Part of the process..yes. but I ow just like anything else that hurt like hell...the pain will end one day and it will pass. Just stay unfocused on him. Stay off of his social media's and keep communication business as much as possible. Act as if you dont care about him and what he does. It will bother him more. Hold your crown strong sis. 🙏🏽. And just know I am texting you these words that I am currently working on myself and I still am hurting in the process of healing

I broke up with my baby dad today. It was hardest yet best decision I could have made. It’s so hard when you’ve built your life around someone just to let it all go. I made him my life. I always had his back. I fell hard for him. But he has let me down time and time again. Which has made me lose respect for him. And I no longer feel In love with him like I did before. Straight Wisdom in this video. I had my daughter March of 2020 and when she was 2 weeks old I set hard boundaries with her father. After, he became extremely abusive! I don’t regret a thing because now I see the real him. Boundaries have kept me sane and at peace. I don't know how your able to remain so calm talking about this. I mean just hearing you say everything you did throughout your pregnancy is EXACTLY my story and my baby daddy still refuses to acknowledge the hurt, and trauma he and his lil floozy caused me and my child. I almost lost the baby, and my life, whilst giving birth to my daughter and all that was solely from the stress and pain of having to endure a pregnancy alone while he just carried on with his life. Needless to say, I'm in therapy and hoping it will help quell the fire of deep hatred and anger and disappointment in myself for ever trusting that narcissist. I just feel like such a damn fool. Maybe one day I'll hold my head up high like you and be able to co-parent for now...we'll just continue with the legal proceedings in court and hope that I never lay eyes on him. Therapy is a must, I was in a Moms program online that was offered to me then I went to therapy outside of that. Prayer is a must, I constantly prayed over me, my child and the decisions I made as a parent.

I'm impressed, and your therapist was VERY important. They're a lot of awesome single mothers out there, but its better to not deal with a single mother withing a year of leaving the baby daddy. There is just too much she has to figure out, set up, stop fantasizing about trying to make it work with the baby daddy or still sleeping with him. She has to figure all that out on her end without the new guy like you did. I had a single mother gf that was great with boundaries and called the cop once when her baby daddy just showed up when I was there. She also went thru all the stuff I mentioned above, she made a lot of time for me as her mom babysat a lot for her.

I’m 16 years old . I’m 3 months pregnant . He kicked me out his parents house . We tried talking to him but he said even his presence bothers him . He’s about to be 18. We were fine until now .. he was the sweetest now he wants nothing to do with me . Of course his family does and he gets so furious because of tht . This has been happening months before he found out I was pregnant: started avoiding me.. one time we went to a party and I begged him to stay, but he went with his homeboys instead😕. He would always go with his friend and wouldn’t come home till 12 or 1. Now that I’m pregnant, he promised he would visit me whenever he could. He could’ve visited me yesterday but didn’t bother to show up. It’s not fucking fair. We haven’t spent a SINGLE day together in forever. He’s always either at work or with his mommy or some other bullshit. So I broke up with him. It hurts me with all my fucking heart. 😞 but he’s an asshole. & I can’t be with someone who doesn’t put in any effort anymore. Fuck that. I’m sad but I’m relieved but I’m mostly sad of right now. 😔ugh. 15 weeks pregnant today, though😊.

It was quite hard for me, honestly. 2 days after we broke up, I called him saying that I missed him & his girlfriend came & he hung up on me.. you wanna know what made me wanna move on even more? THAT. I used to be his main & now I’m his secret..? That DID NOT sit right with me. Spend time with ppl you love. Since we broke up, I got closer to my parents. Especially my mom. I dated him for 2 years & I would always be with him. Rarely with my parents. 30 minutes at most💔.. get closer to ur loved ones. Don’t listen to sad music or music that will remind you of him!!!! Listen to music that makes you feel like a BADASS B🤜🏼!!!! CRY !!! CRY ALL you need to cry .. & it doesn’t matter if you’re talking to a stranger. To a cat, a dog or a bird… if you have something you want to say.. SAY IT. LET IT OUT! Crying and TALKING about what ur feeling will REALLY help. Work out, dye your hair.. idk! Step out of your comfort zone and do things you’ve never done before! My friends and I went out at 3 am to graffiti an apartment complex🥴.. I had so much fun, I was too busy having fun to get sad over him. But yeah.. OH. If you need to contact him once y’all break up.. I suggest you DO it. I mean you SHOULDNT but if you cannot hold the urge innnnn and you wanna hear his voice .. just do it. I mean I don’t have strong willpower… sooooooo lol. But BLOCK HIM on everything. ESPECIALLY if he gets a new girlfriend. Blocking him will make you feel sooooooooo much better. Don’t unblock him. Uh uh. Do not. & yes. That’s it. That expression that says “time heals pain,” isn’t true. I waited 6 months to heal. & up to this I’m barely getting back up on my own 2 feet.. YOU heal yourself, not time. im going through this right now we been together for 5 years and now out of no where he has a new girlfriend that he lets disrespect me ! im still pregnant and not due until January when I text him to try to talk about our daughter he just ignore me and done respond I was so hurt to the point where I didn't feel like myself I barely was eating i kept asking myself why me as if I did something everything she said in this video is exactly what im going through I talk to god everyday and ask him to please take this pain away and bless me and my babygirl I know god is gunna bless us I just have to wait and focus on me and my babygirl and stop worrying about my no good baby father!

this was so helpful. 23 and i’ve only had one boyfriend; our relationship has been rocky to say the least, for the 3 years we’ve been together. we had a miscarriage last december, and just discovered we’re expecting our rainbow. something small and *totally* unrelated ticked him off the day we found out, enough to “unclaim” the baby as his. as in, he gives up on our relationship and his chance of one with his child. i blocked him for the first time because i felt that same feeling she described of like “no, not anymore, i’m not allowing this” - but even as far as to say i don’t want him to see his child even if he does come around trying to pick up the pieces… (this is not a new behavior just one i can’t accept moving forward with this baby inside me). i’m in shock and this is just what i needed to snap me out of it and into full mama bear mode. we had plans of a big family, a farm, lots of animals. he most certainly was trying to put a baby in me after we lost our first… it sucks but this baby is EVERYTHING and more to me and i will not let this man or anyone take away the joy and blessing.

Two weeks after I left he got arrested for something he still fails to come clean out. But I’m grateful to be back home under a stable roof over my head and carry out my pregnancy.
