And I think we were down 13 poyntz at one point in the second half? I have to go back and double-check I know for certain it was at least 10 so we went from 10 points down to tied to winning by 8 points that's how much more productive the team was in the second half

Huggs almost beat Gonzaga in another Bad Boy Mowers Tournament when Oscar T was a freshman but came up short. Also got blown out in a OOC game in Spokane, WA so 0-2 against the Zags that I can remember.

This is actually the first basketball game I've seen this season. I missed the Backyard Brawl because they change stations on me. Tucker DeVries is a different type of animal out there. He reminds me of shades of Kevin pittsnogle mixed with Mike gansey

Hold on guys!!! I want them to be “back” too, but this is one big game. In one other big game they layed an egg at Pitt. They looked good, played hard, and played smart. Looking forward to more wins like this but I’m still being cautious.

The Pitt game was a fluke Our first away game. With a team that was together for a few months at best. In that environment. Pitt couldn’t miss. We were absolutely shell shocked. Causing us to have to play completely different like we want to. This was “one big game?” I disagree. Pretend the Pitt game didn’t happen. We went to OT with UL today and lost. But that was with us playing horrible. If we can beat Gonzaga and almost beat Louisville. Basketball is back in Morgantown!

Im happy for my mountaineers to win, but I’m still holding my reservations. Going to the tourney in DeVries first season would be nothing short of a miracle. I think they played really well but I think the grind will bring them down eventually and WVU ends about .500.

I just want to point out folks WVU did this almost in a complete game. We didn't just have offense we had defense we were turning the ball over Steals and interceptions and deflections. And we won this game by making the vast majority of our free throws when was the last time we had a game where we made more free throws than the other team

The zags had a terrible turnover at the wrong time, cost them the win. But I will say west Virginia finally playing offense instead of bruiser ball under Huggins. Hope there is a rematch down the road

Pitt was a fluke. If you have watched all of our other games, we were shell shocked by Pitt not missing for a he first twelve minutes. Went down by 30 and it never got worse. Brand new team. Worst possible environment. Fluke We are a good team. Gonzaga is not the last big win we will get

I noticed Gonzaga would make contact and we would get called for the foul…smh As on official, if the offense initiated the contact, you don’t blow the whistle on the defense Saw a call on Javon Small where the ball handler turned into Small and the ref called Small for the foul, smh
