It contains various fixes from v4.2.2 regarding scaling on HiDPI monitors, some VPN issues and UNC path handling. Torrents with broken UNC paths will be fixed when you run this release. It may not matter how they upload it. Screen resolution could also limit how it's displayed. You have to remember that when you look at a video or a picture on a screen, you're not looking at reality - you're looking at an approximation of reality made up of pixels. There may simply be too much glitter to display correctly.

Minecraft does nor run on 114p, it runs on the resolution you would expect from any other game. It merely has an art style which is not the same thing as a mechanical restriction.
