@ yeah that's how I saw it too! The aggressive and sometimes nasty ‘Recast T'challa’ movement folks are the ones who don't understand this. It was too soon to recast back when Wakanda Forever came out but now that time has pasaed and we have the multiverse and people are more open to having another T'challa --now we is the right time to explore that. And like u said it can be the son aged up (or pulled from another universe, or even another T'challa from another universe) but T'challa will be back in one form or another

I see three possible Scenarios/Characters for Denzel in BP3. (Setting the Multi-verse stuff aside.) 1) Blue Marvel - Threat from the "Western Powers" (Again). Denzel is a version of Blue Marvel that's a decommissioned/retired product of the Super Soldier Program that is convinced/tricked by the U.N.(American Gov) into conflict with Wakanda. 2) Moses Magnum - Threat from a African Nation neighboring Wakanda. Denzel is a superhuman equivalent to Idi Amin. Maybe the antagonist Nation Moses Magnum leads uses scavenged Thanos' Army tech left over from the Infinity War 'Battle of Wakanda'. 3) Achebe - Threat from within Wakanda. Denzel is a Wakandan that seizes power within Wakanda due to the absence of Shuri, and death of Queen Ramonda. (You can even have Achebe be a relative to Ramonda.) You can get into the occult stuff with Achebe.

Not a bad guess. Personally, I think specifically trying to "guess/predict" what role he'll play is kind of meaningless because it's going to heavily depend on the story. But "prediecting" what sort of role it would be is worth thinking about because like they point out, it will probably be just a role for this movie and not a character like Samuel L Jackson/Martin Freemen where they are in a ton of movies.

If Black Panther 3 is interested in featuring Storm, I think Denzel should by the Shadow King. He's a villain who manipulates people to his own advantage. Maybe in this film, he wants to take over Wakanda for his own interests. Denzel would be great in bringing that villain to life.

Definitely excited to hear about Black Panther 3 being a thing, and even more excited that Denzel is going to be in it. From what I've seen, many fans seem to agree that Denzel should be Adam Brashear/Blue Marvel in the MCU. Essentially, Brashear has a military background and was active as a superhero after the Korean War and during Kennedy's Presidency, he continued superheroing until the public found out that he was a black man (they don't find out he's Adam Brashear though), so Kennedy reluctantly asks him to retire to avoid further controversy and such since it was during the Civil Rights Movement. He retires and becomes a Physics Professor in Chicago and is recognized as one of the smartest people in the world. They can have Denzel play the modern Adam Brashear and for flashbacks to the 60's and such they can have Denzel's son John David Washington in the role. Denzel really could play anyone though and any type of role whether it be villain, supporting, cameo, or main, so it'll be interesting to see who they choose for him to be.

I think black panther 3 will be base of the king of the dead story line and will take place in the supernatural/mutant saga as he connected to storm and Denzel will be play Achebe who got his powers from mephitso. Basically the king of the dead storyline took place before secret wars or x man versus avengers and tchalla didn’t want to take shuri black panther and throne which in the mcu will be tchalla son he meet with baset and become king of the dead while shuri and fantastic 4 in the king of the dead story line was trying to figure out why people are coming back to life and it was Anubis Egyptian god of the dead
