French Military Kicked Out: Explosion of Anti-Colonial Sentiment in Africa’s Sahel w/ Eugene Puryear

Africa’s Sahel region is experiencing historic shifts as anti-colonial sentiment sweeps across the region, with the French military being kicked out of one country after another after failing to rout insurgencies fueled by their own policies. France and its allies have responded by blaming disinformation, authoritarianism, and the west’s favorite boogeyman: Russia. Meanwhile the security situation in the Sahel continues to deteriorate.
To help break it all down, Breakthrough News journalist Eugene Puryear joined Rania Khalek on Dispatches.

It would be wonderful. All Western countries should leave & let Africa build their countries up on their own merritt. Using their natural resources & products to sell around the world & trade within Africa. All Western countries can take their % of their GDP out of Africa & keep it in their own countries. Iam sure taxpayers would love that. While Africa is at it they should kick out all Foundations & the billions that they funnel out of their countries be used in their own countries helping the under privilege. Same as Corporations they need to get their resources of equipment, people, knowledge &money from businesses out of Africa & let Africans use their knowledge & figure it out on their own. While Africa is at it, kicking the Western countries out. Africa could take back all their farm lands away from the White South Africans, who's ancestors roots go back to the 1800s. Let white south Africans take their farming knowledge & equipment & leave. Africans can learn to farm & feed their people. While Africa is at it, they can call back all their illegal refugees that have fled from Afica back home to help build the continent back up. It's a win win situation. Thanks peace out!

An anthropologist showed a game to the children of an African tribe He placed a basket of delicious fruits near a tree trunk and told them: The first child to reach the tree will get the basket Including .. When he gave them the start signal, he was surprised that they were walking together, holding hands until they reached the tree and shared the fruit! When he asked them why you did that when every one of you could get the basket only for himself 🏃‍♂️ They answered with astonishment: Ubuntu "That is, how can one of us be happy while the rest are miserable?" Ubuntu in their civilization means: I am because we are. That tribe knows the secret of happiness that has been lost in all societies that transcend them and which consider themselves civilized societies. 👨‍👩‍👦

Anthony Blinken, speaks with a "forked tongue...". He made some friendly utterances about that, however he was responsible for arm twisting two weak African president's (President Hichilema if Zambia and President Tshisikedi of DR Congo) into signing away their cobalt and copper resources to American companies for questionable "benefits". This was an excellent overview, thank you to both of you.

Eugene is spot on with respect to puzzling case, where it seems the presence of Western forces in Africa, Middle East and other places, is usually corrrelatec or directly proportional to rebel/terrorist activities in such regions! The obvious case in point is Afghanistan, where the USA was there in full force for nearly 20yrs, ostensibly fighting the taliban, and when the leave, the taliban is not only still there, but even more powerful in its hold over the entire Afghanistan!!?

Also, products of the Cfa nation has to be sold to France. If France rejects it then can be sold to others but ONLY withe approval of France.

@@theonly6359 There's more. The Cfa is not really honored by any other nation than the other 13 Cfa nations. So, if say, Chad, wanted to buy a comb from China then China would have to accept this worthless paper money or have Chad go to the French to convert it to the Euro. Which they have been known to devalue it arbitrarily. If the French nixes it then Chad who needs combs will have to get it from a "International" charity. Things are far worse for Cfa farmers and as a result of all of this the nations are poor and ill fed. The YT Americans and YT Europeans have been raping other nations this way for centuries.

Get worse? I doubt it could get much worse. My Maroccan born wife was booted out of Morocco as a child because she was born of a French Jewish family there. That was over 50 years ago. Let us not be deceived that Black Africans are any less prejudiced than any others. As most social unrest in France emanates from second or third generation Black Africans, would it be unrealistic to repatriate those people back to Africa?

@normanclark933 -Get your people out of Africa and keep your war mongering ways to yourselves and our African families will leave Africa to get away from you bedbugs. The Africans in France and other countries is because those countries are stealing African resources so we follow to get the slight benefit from them. Western Europe as you have gotten used to it can not survive without African resources. You will have to pay the going rate so we can build our Africa and you will see very little Africans risking their lives going to miserable Euro. There is a reason why we are called happy people.

Peoples of Africa must unite together and build up their own countries on their own. Any outside help will always come with strings attached! Africa must learn to become totally independent and self reliant. Africa can and must grow their own food, create their own single money system and provide their own security. A United Africa will bring prosperity to the whole Continent. Each Country in Africa must see to its own interests by uniting with all of the surrounding Countries to build a united front with a united goal. This will bring great peace and prosperity for all the Countries of Africa. God needs to be first and foremost in this great endeavor. Only by the help of God can this be truly accomplished. I look forward in an Africa that is filled with manufacturing and resorts that are a joy to behold. Believe in yourselves and believe in God and He will give you the beautiful united Africa you seek without outside entanglements.
