I don't think it has a brand. I purchased it from a fellow hobbyist like 15 years ago. But I don't remember exactly who I got it from.

Idk if it's my luck but the ones I got laid only one batch of eggs but that was it. They never tried to laid anymore or seem to want to breed. Maybe it's the tank or set up. I tried a few things like different tank substrates, plants, rock layouts, foods but no breeding behaviors.

Yes, Dan, I enjoyed that video very much! I have a LOT of questions tho. First- HOW did you EVER come up with this whole process for the eggs, the FRY and everything!? Wow--- I'm lost. Second, do you use a filter, or just water changes + the cherry shrimp ? Heater? Wow- I already forgot my other questions. Duh..... I never heard of this breed of fish--- I am pretty impressed, cute, colorful little fish-- how big do they get??? Thanks so much Dan 👍 have a great night.

Dan@dan's fish love these breeding videos, always more in depth then most on KZbin, maybe I'll give these a shot someday, seem pretty straight forward process. Apparently I'm having issues with my email- I can't send or receive them so I'm in the process of setting up a new account. I've noticed forks in two of your videos, in a tank. What is the story here?

We stick veggies like Zucchini on them so they sink to the bottom for shrimp, Snails, plecos, otos, etc

We have Peacock Gudgeons and Empire Gudgeons, but no Mogurnda cingulata.
